Review of Central University of Jammu.
Placements: We have active placement preparations from the first year. While in the final year, we are very serious about it. Our placement trainers explain all the concepts understandably and with all the patience. The average salary package offered by the recruiters is around 4.2 LPA - 4.8 LPA.
Infrastructure: Our college maintains a neat and hygienic campus with all the necessary facilities. Apart from studies, we may be able to participate in a lot of extracurricular activities to enhance our winning skills. We have served hygienic and nutritious meals, breakfast, and dinner.
Faculty: We have undergone a lot of tests and internals to attend the final semester examinations. We have strict and supportive teachers. We can't bunk even a single class. Our teachers patiently explain all the practical projects and clarify all our doubts about such projects.

I am satisfied because of the well-equipped infrastructure, faculty members, and placements.
Placements: Top recruiting companies during our course duration were Future Retail Ltd, Waterhealth International, top banks, etc. Our seniors and students from our batch got placed as senior marketing executives. Internship companies included BigBazaar, ONGC, Uflex, Power Grid, etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college was good. Wi-Fi facility was also available for every student throughout the campus. I had a few of my friends in the hostel, and they said the facilities over there were good. Medical facilities were available. The quality of the food served in the canteen was good.
Faculty: Faculty members of our college were helpful and knowledgeable. They are helpful to us even after the completion of the course. Their teaching quality was amazing. The course curriculum is relevant, and it makes students industry-ready by various activities like group discussions, role play, business quizzes, etc.
Other: We organised an entrepreneurial fest which proved to be a great success. There were plenty of extracurricular activities. Scholarship programs were there. Campus surroundings were too good.

I am satisfied with the faculty but dissatisfied with the placement system.
Placements: The placements for our senior batch were not good. They placed only 3-4 students. I am not aware of the salary offered to them. The companies that visited our college were Water Health, Airtel, HDFC, etc. About 70% of the students got an internship from the college.
Infrastructure: The facilities like labs, classrooms, library, medical facilities, sports and games etc. are good but our campus is not Wi-Fi enabled yet. The quality of the classrooms and labs is good. The food available in the campus canteen is of a good quality. The hostel rooms are good.
Faculty: My experience with the faculty is good. The faculty members are well experienced and knowledgeable. They are well qualified and very helping. Their methods of teaching are good. They use PPT and case studies to teach us. We got industry exposure from the college. The course curriculum is useful.

The MBA-HR program at Jammu University offered supportive faculty and practical learning.
Placements: I pursued an MBA in Human Resource Management at the University of Jammu. About 60 percent of students in the program got placed recently. The highest package was 12 LPA. The lowest was 2.5 LPA. The average was 7.1 LPA. Top recruiters included firms such as HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, and other major corporates. Internships were well-supported. Many students placed in companies like ITC Limited and Airtel. Popular roles after graduation included HR Executive, Recruiter, Talent Acquisition Coordinator, and Sales Manager. The course offered a strong HR foundation in a supportive academic environment.
Infrastructure: The University of Jammu offered good infrastructure for MBA-HR students. Classrooms were clean. They equipped with projectors. The campus provided Wi-Fi in academic blocks. The library was excellent with study space and rich academic resources. Computer labs and seminar halls were available for presentations and workshops. Hostel facilities were decent. The mess food was average. The campus had medical support. Canteens with affordable food. It had strong sports facilities including cricket grounds, a gym, and indoor games areas.
Faculty: Faculty for MBA-HR at Jammu University was helpful. They were experienced and knowledgeable. They had a strong command over HR concepts and real-world case studies. Teaching quality was good. Along with interactive sessions, presentations, and industry-focused learning. The curriculum was relevant. They cover HR, management, analytics, and soft skills needed for corporate roles. Semester exams were moderately difficult. They require consistent study rather than last-minute preparation. The overall pass percentage was high. Most students who attended classes, prepared regularly. They can clear exams.
Other: I completed my MBA in Human Resource Management from the University of Jammu (2022-2024 batch). I chose this course to build strong skills in people management and leadership. Faculty was supportive. The teaching style was interactive with presentations and practical learning. Campus events, sports, and fests made student life enjoyable. I wished there were more industry visits and HR-focused workshops. Overall, it was a good place for academic growth and personal development in HR.
