Our lives turn when we enter the Central University of Karnataka.

Placements: The percentage of placed students is very low, around 10% to 15%. The lowest package is 2 LPA, and the highest package is 12 LPA. Some seniors are placed at Aakash Educational Services Ltd., and some are placed at IEEE-related companies. For internships, the minimum requirement is 8.5 CGPA. Most internships are carried out at IITs, NITs, and IIITs.

College is okay, it depends on you whether you like it, overall it's good.

Placements: Placements are not that much but a good number of students are placed for a 3 LPA-4 LPA package and core companies don't visit that much compared to other colleges. Still, some companies visit and it's good if you get selected as a fresher but don't expect a very high salary.

Overall, it is the best university for the MA in Journalism and Mass Communication Course.

Placements: Our university offers average placements in major corporations. Teaching and curriculum activities are consistent with the institution's mission. Almost 75 percent of students go to college each year. The average package offered is 13 LPA. The top recruiting companies for our course are Zed News, Star India, and All India Radio. Top roles offered are broadcast news producer, senior content editor, etc. Internships are also offered here.

Overall, the university is good. In 2025, from CS department 24 students got placed.

Placements: For my department (Electronics and Communication) placement is not too good. The placement faculty are actively doing work. In 2025 from CS department 24 students got placed. The company visited TCS. Here the placement is not too good you have to do more work for yourself.

The course is quite tough but good if you want a challenge.

Placements: Placements are fairly low. The Computer Science and Mathematics branches are new, and none of the batches from these branches have completed their courses, so there is no placement data from these branches, and the data available is from Electrical and Electronics branches.

University is good and satisfied with the facilities.

Placements: There are no maximum placements, but education is good. Placements are too low so that's why their NAC is B+. They are not too old college, that's why they have no placements in more departments. Psychology department has good placements. So if you are interested in that department you can join.
