As a biotech student at CGC Jhanjheri, I gain quality education and enjoy a vibrant campus life.

Placements: 80 to 85 percent of students from our batch get placed. The highest package offered is around 45 LPA. The lowest package is approximately 3 LPA, and the average package ranges between 5 LPA to 6 LPA. Top recruiting companies include Infosys, Wipro, TCS, Amazon, Deloitte, Accenture, Cognizant, and Tech Mahindra. 60 to 70 percent of students also secured internships through the campus in reputed companies like TCS, Infosys, and start-ups in the region. The most common roles offered are software developer, data analyst, business analyst, network engineer, and management trainee.

Infrastructure: Campus infrastructure is well developed with Wi-Fi-enabled classrooms, modern labs, digital libraries, and spacious lecture halls. Hostel facilities are good with clean rooms and 24/7 security. The food quality in the mess is decent. They offer a variety of vegetarian and non-vegetarian options. There are sports complexes, medical facilities, and recreation areas that cater to the development of students. College also provides transportation facilities. It has a well-maintained garden and sitting areas. It makes the environment student-friendly.

Faculty: Faculty members are highly qualified. They are supportive and approachable. Many holds PhDs and having good industry experience. They focus on theoretical knowledge and practical applications. It is essential for a subject like biotechnology. Curriculum is regularly updated to match current industry requirements. They cover core subjects include genetic engineering, microbiology, molecular biology, and bioinformatics. It includes practical sessions and workshops. That prepare students for research and industrial roles.

Other: I chose this because biotechnology is a rapidly growing field. It has a vast career opportunities in research, pharmaceuticals, agriculture, and healthcare. The best thing about this course is to provide hands-on training in labs. They provide opportunities to attend seminars and industrial visits. It helps the gap between theory and practical knowledge. One area for improvement could be to increase collaborations with biotech companies for more internship opportunities. The course prepares students very well for higher studies, research, or industry jobs.

Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Jhanjeri is good for a better future.

Placements: In my college, 60% of students are placed from all the branches. If we talk about my branch, the percentage of students who are placed is 75%. The highest package of my course is 10 LPA. The average package of my course is 4 LPA. I would like to thank you for placements.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of my campus is mind-blowing, I just love it. There are 6-7 building blocks on my campus. I study in block 5 which is so beautiful and satisfying. There is Wi-Fi in every block on my campus and has a personalized password so thank you.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful to everyone. They always solve our problems. They have very good behavior. They are polite to everyone. They all are very qualified from very precious college. They qualified for their Ph.D. and they have super knowledge. Curriculum is relevant to everyone.

Other: I chose this course because I like to be practical likely in labs. The best thing about my course is to be active and be patient. In my college, many events are held. Fests are also held. Currently Darshan Raval and many more celebrities have come to our campus.

Satisfied and good infrastructure.

Placements: 30% of students got placed. The highest is 5 LPA, the lowest is 3 LPA. Marketing companies offer placements and internships, like DSS Imagetech. Students not interested in research have the opportunity to apply for marketing companies for sales. The college also organizes workshops and conferences.

Infrastructure: Good infrastructure and Wi-Fi available. Library has AC facilities also. All facilities are available in the hostel and good food is available in the mess. Laundry facilities are available. Also, sports opportunities are provided, and other opportunities like theatre, modelling, singing, and dancing clubs are also there.

Faculty: Teachers are qualified and knowledgeable in their subjects, and they also provide guidance for the future. But teaching quality can be improved. The college makes students industry-ready and provides special sessions for placements like soft skills, aptitude, verbal ability, etc.

Other: I chose this course according to my interests. Lab life is the best thing in my course. Practical knowledge can be improved in this course. The college has a fantastic crowd and a lot of fests and extracurricular activities are held regularly.
