Overall, the best university for an M.A. in Applied Economics course
Placements: 85% of students secured placements, and 70% of our seniors found placements while the remainder pursued their own projects. The maximum package was 10 LPA, the minimum was 1 LPA, and the average was 5 LPA. Numerous enterprises arrived here seeking job positions. 60% of students secured internships across various companies. Roles included data analyst, policy analyst, and others.
Infrastructure: Rooms come with a pair of fans, and there is a continuous supply of water and electricity available around the clock. The meals offered are of high quality, providing nutritious shakes, milk, and fruits during breakfast. Enrollment is completed online via the college's official website, and the costs are fair and manageable for students.
Faculty: Our college's professors and Head of Department are really supportive. Despite the problems with the Diploma, they helped me. The course syllabus is appropriate. The training and placement section teaches students how to participate in interviews, succeed in group discussions, and manage simulated assessments, among other things. The semester exam is quite difficult, with a pass rate of about 45%.

Till now, it has been good! Nice overall! Good placement and college life.
Placements: About 60-65% of the students from our course got placed. Mainly in the banking sector, such as ICICI Bank, HDFC Bank, and some private companies like Wipro, Infosys, etc., visit our college for placements. Our college prepares students for further Ph.D. and provides knowledge for competitive exams like IES, IAS, PCS, etc. They also prepare us for upcoming lectures.
Infrastructure: Hostels in CUSAT have decent facilities with awesome infrastructure, providing basic yet decent quality amenities. In a single room, there are 3 beds, a table, and a fan. The meals provided in the hostel are okay, with not a wide variety of food. The registration process to get a hostel room is simple. Students from distant places are given more priority for hostel living. The hostel fee, including expenditure on food, is just 2300 rupees per year.
Faculty: I chose it because library facilities are good, with a central library and a cyber library. The libraries maintain pin-drop silence. In master courses, the intake is about 100 for each course. Faculty members are helpful for any kind of assistance. All faculty members are qualified in the NET GRF examination, and their teaching processes are excellent for me. All classrooms have computer projector facilities. Exams are conducted in two semesters per year, with a passing mark of 33%. Following past years' question papers and paying careful attention to lectures is crucial. Class size: 67 Course fees: INR 29000 per year.
