CUSAT admission to Integrated BSc-MSc programme is based on CUSAT CAT score. CUSAT CAT or Cochin University of Science and Technology Common Admission Test is a computer-based test conducted for shortlisting aspirants for admission to various courses. After completion of selection rounds, CUSAT releases a rank list based on total marks secured in Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry subjects. A separate rank list is released for selected Integrated BSc-MSc specialisation. Based on the rank list, aspirants are called for counselling and document verification round.

With the main building styled in traditional Kerala architecture, the campus houses various Departments & Schools except Marine Sciences, in addition to the administrative office, auxiliary institutions, hostels, guest house, visiting faculty complex, computer centre, central library, staff quarters, playgrounds and other amenities. CUSAT conducts CAT (Common Admission Test) for admissions to programmes like Law, Engineering, Environmental Studies, Marine Sciences, Humanities, Science, Medical Sciences & Technology, and Social Sciences and Technology. CUSAT CAT is a computer-based test. The multiple-choice questions (MCQs) are asked in the exam. Candidates can take this test by applying online through the university website. The CUSAT CAT 2025 exam date will be released along with the official brochure. Candidates who will appear for the exam must refer to the CUSAT 2025 syllabus and exam pattern for their preparations.
