For seeking BE/BTech admission at DCRUST Sonepat, a candidate needs to pass Class 12 with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and Chemistry/ Biology/ Biotechnology/ Computer Science as an optional subject with a minimum of 45% aggregate (40% for SC/ST/OBC candidates) along with a valid JEE Main score. On the other hand, for BE/BTech (Lateral Entry) admission, a candidate needs to pass a Diploma degree from a recognised institute/university with a minimum of 45% aggregate (40% for SC/ST/OBC candidates) along with a valid score in Haryana LEET. Step 1- Payment of Counselling Participation Fees: All candidates have to pay Rs 500 either in online mode through credit/debit card, net banking, or in offline mode through e-challan by visiting any branch of Punjab National Bank/Axis Bank. After fee payment, the system will allot a “Roll No.” to every candidate which can be used throughout the counselling and admission process.

Step 2- Counselling Registration: Students will have to register themselves after payment of counselling fees. For this, they will have to enter their basic details along with JEE Main roll number. Candidates will receive a user ID and password in their registered email ID for all future login.

Step 3- Filling and Locking of Choices: Candidates will have to log in using their user ID and password to fill choices of colleges. Candidates must note that they have to make fresh choice filling for every round of counselling after the announcement of the seat allotment result.

Step 4- Seat Allotment: The Haryana BTech counselling and seat allotment authority will release the result of seat allotment. Candidate has to login using their user ID and password to check their seat allotment result. If the candidate is allotted a seat, they will see the link to the provisional seat allotment letter.

To join DCRUST, you need to meet the eligibility criteria and the selection process for the programme you are interested in. For example, for B.Tech admission, you need to have passed 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and one of Chemistry / Bio-Technology / Computer Science / Biology, and have a valid JEE Main score. Came into existence in 2006, the University was formerly known as Chhotu Ram State College of Engineering, (1987-2006). DCRUST grants admission to UG courses on the basis of merit. Admission to all PG courses is granted on the score obtained in the entrance test conducted by the University. The University also accepts scores of National level exams such as JEE Mians, CAT, CMAT, GATE and NATA for respective courses. For admission to PG courses Once the candidates obtain the scores of the entrance test conducted by the University, they need to attend the counselling round this depends on course selection.
