B.Tech. in Electronics and Communication Engineering - Batch of 2025

College and campus at DCRUST
Placements: Very bad placement for year 2025. Only 1 company hired, i.e., TCS. The rest, like Fidelity and L&T Online, took tests but did not release results. No one knows what happened. TCS hired many for the Ninja role, i.e., 3.5 LPA. Even that is like a dream to get hired from DCRUST in TCS. Very poor TPC, no placement.
Infrastructure: Hostel is okay, as usual in government. Canteen is average. There is a basketball court in campus, and badminton and tennis courts are available too. But it is very crowded, only sometimes do you get a chance to play, rest of the times fully occupied. Sometimes students play volleyball and cricket in the hostel arena, so that’s good too.
Faculty: Department faculty are average and some are good too, but there is not much bonding between students and teachers. Exams are held on campus, so that is good. But the course curriculum is outdated; some subjects are still from the ’90s. Overall, I can say it is below average.

Choose B.Teach wisely, not as a rat race.
Placements: Only 1-2% of students got placed by their own sources; none from college. Only TCS came to recruit. For internships, students used to give fake letters and completion certificates. I was in the 2025 batch (ECE). No electronic company came for recruitment, and IT companies create partiality between CSE and ECE.
Infrastructure: 25-30 years old architecture, politics runs everything. No one wants to come in front to take a stand but stays quiet and divides the development found between. The mess is a waste of money, and there is a compulsion of mess; whether you eat in the mess or not, you have to pay the mess bill. In name, it’s a non-profit organisation (mess), but it’s a scam with students. No fixed bills, can vary certainly.
Faculty: Some professors are excellent. They have great knowledge, but in front of the bad system, everyone has to become the same. It’s like a school to attend 4 years of university. A curriculum of mass ree to create the percentage of students less eligible for placements in documents. Some good students, although scoring well, sometimes also become prey of mass ree. For example, in a class of 45 students in which 20+ are placed in mechanical, their degree extension placement got cancelled only because of teacher ego.
Other: I couldn't get CSE, so I thought I will choose ECE. But being an ECE student, we have to study both CSE (according to field of interest) and ECE for good academic scores. No fest in 4 years. Connectivity is good, 45 minutes to Delhi. 5-star murthal dhabas (restaurants now) are nearby with student discounts with ID card. 4-5 students can go with 250-300 per person expenses with enough food and dessert.

Good college as per education and infrastructure, but overall, an average college.
Placements: Talking about the placement here, the ratio is 10 out of 100. Some were not eligible for it, and some of them got very low placements, which is not looking comfortable to share. The rest of the branches are out of the region of placement, hence we have to go outside.
Infrastructure: Mess facilities are just up to the mark, not so good and not so bad. They are just to fill our stomachs, not even matching our daily needs. Some of us were not satisfied much, so we had to look outside for dinner, which appeared to be more costly than the mess bill amount.
Faculty: Our faculty members are better than those at any other campus, and I'm sure they're pretty superior to others, especially the teachers of electronic engineering. They're very helpful and cooperative; even on non-working days, they're here to help us.

Review for my college.
Placements: My course is very helpful. The placement rate is average. The package is around 10 LPA for the ECE branch. The companies visiting are Tata, Infosys, and others. Placements are good. There is a separate group for placements that helps us.
Infrastructure: The hostel facility is good. There is Wi-Fi in the hostel. Water is pure, with both cold and hot. Mess food is average. The mess workers and staff are all hygienic. There are 4 hostels. There is Wi-Fi. There is a reading room. There are many blocks.
Faculty: Faculty is extremely supportive and helpful. The first year includes various subjects. Exams are in a semester-wise system. It is good for B.Tech in computer science, electronics and communication engineering, electrical engineering, and mechanical engineering.

DCRUST - My entire memory book.
Placements: It has a very poor placement rate of approximately 45%. It can call only 2 to 3 companies and all for very minimal branches. It provides placement to the biotech and electrical departments very well. Good placements by computer sir as well but unlimited companies.
Infrastructure: Hostels are very nice. Classrooms are well-maintained. Infrastructure of classrooms is very good. It has good Wi-Fi on the university campus and hostels as well. Classrooms are air-conditioned. Library has lots of books. Labs are air-conditioned and have various equipment.
Faculty: The curriculum is taken seriously by teachers it is AICTE-approved and requires 33% to pass the exam. Everyone should have 75% of attendance to sit in the exams. 60% is required for medical and all. No student is entertained with low attendance.
Other: Campus life is just amazing. It has greenery all over the campus, and it is very beautiful. They have various food plazas.

Not good, not that bad; it is an average college.
Placements: Deenbandhu Choturam Ram University offers a strong foundation in technical education, supports internship opportunities, and promotes placement initiatives. It has well-equipped laboratories, modern classrooms, and a central library with vast academic resources. Companies frequently come to recruit there.
Infrastructure: hey provide good infrastructure in labs, modern classrooms, and a library with extensive academic resources. Hostels are adequate. The mess and canteens are average. Wi-Fi is not available in hostels and classrooms, while medical facilities are provided by them.
Faculty: They have qualified and experienced faculty in my course, a well-structured curriculum, and a systematic examination process. Faculty members are dedicated not only to academic success but are also engaged in active research and projects. The curriculum is regularly updated.

A review of DCRUST University, Murthal, Sonipat with full honesty from a university student.
Placements: I am B.Tech 2nd year student in the ECE course here at DCRUST Murthal. As I talk about placements in my college, it is a state government 2nd ranked college in Haryana after YMCA Faridabad. Last year’s batch placement was not good, all of us are pretty aware of it due to the recession. But, this year, placements are going pretty decent compared to last year, like 30% of students as of today are placed in several companies. The highest CTC that I am aware of is above 10 LPA. In total, it is a very good state government college.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure of this college is decently good. Frankly speaking, you can't expect a very high class and another level of infrastructure from a government college. Especially, if it is a 30+ year old college. The college has a large library, big auditoriums, several smaller auditoriums, several grounds, and an NCC ground. The hostel is also pretty decent, with good Wi-Fi. The mess food is average, which I think is not a thing that we are unaware of. Also, I want to add one thing if you come from a core branch, there is a quite good amount of equipment for your practical knowledge.
Faculty: The faculty of this college is very good. More than 90% of the staff hold a minimum Ph.D. degree, with more than 10 years of experience in their particular field. I will take my example, I am in 2nd year, an ECE student and all my professors are Ph.D. holders from different NITs and IITs. The curriculum is based on the latest UGC and AICTE, and you get plenty of free and extra time during your course to upskill yourself in any of your interest domains. Exams in this college are held in every semester.
Other: An overview of my college: The faculty is very good and supportive. Placements are good in branches like CSE, ECE, etc. Events are held in our college, one cultural fest held every year named Rhythm and a technical fest named Technova. There are pretty of different technical and cultural societies in which you can take part and increase your skill set and network during your course. Fees are also minimal. Overall, a good college.

College is good and I am happy here.
Placements: There are different companies coming there, like TCS, INFOSYS and Havells, visiting every year and giving great opportunities to students. The lowest packages are 3 lacs, the average package is 6 lacs, and the highest is 12 lacs. On campus and off campus, there are a lot of opportunities.
Infrastructure: Faculty members of our university are the topmost faculty members of Haryana and Sonipat and some of them are also book authors. The infrastructure of the university is very good and feels like an originally engineering old school university. Also, different sports grounds are there.
Faculty: Curriculum is like good there are 2 times sessional exams before the exam every semester and 2 times a year, exam are held. Yes curriculum is relevant; it makes students industry-ready. Not too many hard exams are there. There are easy semester exams; criteria for passing is 40%.
Other: There are different fests in our college, like RHYTHM, TECHNOVA, INTECH, etc. Every year for the entertainment of students. Also, there are different social groups for dancing, drama, singing, entrepreneurship, etc.
