Desh Bhagat University- one of the best universities.

Placements: Our senior batch placements were good this year, and the average package offered was 3.4 lacs and the maximum offered was up to 12 lacs. 1000 students were selected or shortlisted for internships. IndiGo and lot more companies visit for placement. Students are given many opportunities to showcase their talent and excel themselves. More than 50% of the students have been placed this year. Various companies like TCS, NEC Technologies, Ashahi India Glass Ltd., Godrej & Boyce Mfg. Co., ISGEC Yamuna Nagar, Honda Cars India Ltd. (HCIL), Shri Ram Panels Pvt. Ltd., M/s. Eclerx Services Ltd. and many more visited the campus.

Infrastructure: The Wi-Fi facility is very good at the university. The Wi-Fi really helps the college students to gain knowledge through online lectures. The labs are pretty good. The classrooms are very good in all the branches. Many books are available in the college library. The college has a good medical facility. For sports and games, there are two fields in the college. Many games are played on them. Yearly basket and cricket tournaments are organised here. The mess food is average. The hostels are good and the classrooms are well furnished. The labs and classrooms are fully air-conditioned with smart technologies available. There were no infrastructure issues faced by me.

Faculty: The faculty members here have good communication skills and are well-experienced. Projectors and markers are used. The faculty members are Ph.D. degree holders and are working on their research areas extensively. We can approach them anytime in their office. The student to faculty ratio is 70:1. There were various industrial trips. The courses are revised according to the industry's demand and it is notified in the student's handbook or online SAP portal. We also get some industry exposure like a visit to NTPC. The faculty members are friendly in nature but teach with utmost discipline. They are highly experienced.

Other: Ragging is banned here. Though I won't say we have the best culture but yes it's developing at a good pace. Students bunking classes are suspended immediately. Less than 80% attendance will result in payment of a fine. You just can't waste a single minute here. A really awesome university and worth the money.

Other: This is the best college if you want to pursue a career in engineering. Students have the opportunity to improve their technical skills as well as managerial skills. Students have a very healthy atmosphere to learn and interact here. There are lots of activities for overall personality development of the individual. The campus provides an awesome range of facilities and infrastructure for sports and fitness. Seniors are supportive and there is no kind of ragging done here.

Other: Teachers are not experienced. They hire teachers that are just passed out in previous year. They take students if you offer donations. You have to bargain with them for your fees. I won’t suggest any one to go and study in such college. Beware is the term.

Other: The college where you find most interesting people of your life but as far as college is concerned, its average in studies. Though still love to go there any time of day. Attendance wasn’t a worry, being average student wasn’t a concern, what concerns us there maths 1, maths 2 and maths 3. If you are able to cross first year without supply then you have chance for honors degree. First year is quite a year to remember. It is quite cheap so worth a money atleast for me. Crowd is all down to earth. For placements you have to listen nickeleback song - far away. As placements are really far away from students in this college. Faculty is pretty young and inexperienced but you can find few teachers who want to guide you well enough to cross the hurdle.
