Review of Doon University.

Placements: According to my seniors in our department and other different departments, some students say the overall placement experience here is not that good but on the other hand. Many companies hire students from the language course or department from the university so in short language courses have a good and decent placement.

Infrastructure: Labs in our department are well maintained and have a good infrastructure. All systems are working properly so yes it's in good condition and the Wi-Fi is also very stable sometimes it is unstable but overall good. As for the hostel, the hostel infrastructure is very well, especially in Mandakini Girls hostel. I prefer you should apply for this one only. The rooms are bigger and the washrooms are also cleaned and maintained There tv room for entertainment and, a reading room for studying. The mess food is average not too good and not too bad.

Faculty: The faculty of our department i.e. the Computer Science department (School Of Technology) is very good and supportive. They are very skilled and also help students in their projects. The curriculum of course is effective and helps us in exploring many fields of computer Science. The exam cell is also good. Exams are neither too tough nor too easy And one can easily score good marks by studying effectively.

Comprehensive Review of B.Sc. Computer Science at Doon University.

Placements: The placements attract companies like Amazon, Infosys, Flipkart, etc. The salary package ranges from 3 lakhs to around 10 lakhs. The faculty is also very supportive and helps students enhance their skills. However, some students independently apply for jobs as well.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is well-maintained, with some classrooms having projectors and e-boards. The computer labs are also well-equipped with new technology. As of now hostels, Doon University provides separate hostels for boys (Shivalik Boys Hostel) and girls (Alaknanda Girls Hostel and Mandakini Girls Hostel). Hostels have Wi-Fi, a gym, a dining hall, recreation rooms, etc. However, the food quality is average, and it must be improved.

Faculty: The faculty here is well-qualified and experienced, with a Ph.D. degree. They are dedicated and supportive of students. The curriculum includes courses like C Programming, Digital System Design, Python Programming, Computer Architecture, Java, Discrete Mathematics, Data Structures, etc. Exams are conducted twice a semester. i.e., mid-semester and end-semester.
