Galgotias shines in everything except education.

Placements: Normally Galgotias provides a 100% placements guarantee. They even call you after graduation if you didn't get any job during initial campus hiring. Many companies such as Amazon, TCS, Wipro, Cognizant, Infosys visit Galgotias university and most of the students got placed in these service-based companies. Other than that, many start-ups and other big companies keep visiting throughout the year. Most of them offer quite a good package some even more than 10LPA. The salary offered mostly depends on companies. Mass recruiters offer a low package like 3.5 LPA but can take 400-500 students in 1 day, others may offering 15 LPA but they may only offer 1 or 2 seats. Amazon recently hires a student for 30LPA. Companies offers a wide range of software roles such as data analytics, software developer, software tester, etc.

Infrastructure: Galgotias University's infrastructure looks quite good from outside. There were 3 big blocks and 1 boys hostel. The whole university is covered with open Wi-Fi with 1 GBPS speed. Labs and classrooms were equipped with projectors and whiteboards. Each computer in Lab is connected with LAN. But, most of the time there's no clean drinking water in whole university. Most of the washrooms are broken, lifts mostly won't work. AC mostly didn't work during winters. Each block has a separate library which mostly has books of your course. In the hostel, the quality of food is good, taste-wise it may be different for each person, but hygiene is well maintained. There were game rooms, gym, Wi-Fi, badminton court, basketball court, dance room, pool room, a common area in the hostel.

Faculty: Faculty of galgotias university is very supportive. You can visit them with any doubt. Most of the faculty have a Ph.D. degree but they all lack knowledge of modern tools such as cloud computing, data science, etc. They take courses from an online source and then teach students the next day. You may ask basic doubts they can't solve the complex problems. Obviously, some are very good at their subjects but the majority of them are not good. Most faculty have very boring teaching methods, they just read from slides and go home. The course curriculum of galgotias university is very good, they provide very good subjects choices like AI/ML, deep learning, Data mining, etc., but they don't have the quality of teachers to these fragile subjects.

Other: I choose B.Tech Computer Science with a specialisation in data analytics. I choose this because I think there's going to be huge demands for data analytics in the future. Their curriculum is very good and if you can learn those subjects online, then you won't face any issues. I want galgotias university to stop hiring bad faculty, having a Ph.D. doesn't mean he can teach well. They should focus more on the ground level Galgotias has many clubs which organize a huge number of events, workshops, fests every year, Every month there were at least 10-15 events going throughout the university. They also have an annual fest called Unifest. Many famous persons, actors, heroines keep coming galgotias to promote their movies, shows, etc.
