GLS University MBA admission is entrance-based. Interested students are required to meet the admission criteria of the programme as per the university's guidelines. The basic eligibility criteria is to pass graduation with a minimum aggregate of 50% (45% for students from reserved category) from a recognised university. The applicant must be an Indian citizen. Additionally, students must provide a valid score of CMAT followed by participating in counselling conducted by Government of Gujarat appointed admission committee.

The CMAT exam was held in January 2026. NTA usually starts registration for CMAT in November every year. Those interested in appearing for the exam are required to register for it at CMAT-NTA website and fill out the online application form. The score of CMAT will be valid for one year only, so if you appear for CMAT 2026, you must take admission in the same academic year.

Apart from 1300 B-schools, the CMAT score is also valid for admission through MAH CET CAP. The Maharashtra State CET Cell conducts MBA/MMS admissions for 300 colleges in the state. It is followed by a common counselling process called CAP. CMAT test takers can also participate in MAH MBA CET CAP and secure a seat in MBA/MMS course offered by over 300 colleges in Maharashtra.

GLS university provides accommodation or hostel services to the students with the provision of all the basic amenities.  Hostel fees at GLS Hostel begins with INR 12000 per month.  Hostel at this university is very spacious and we'll equipped dwelling place for students. Hostel environment is very friendly and provides decent stay for students. Rooms are well furnished and girls hostel is high security area under 24×7 vigilance by Guards and cctv cameras. Therefore it is a better place for the students to live.

Gujarat based GLS university conducts entrance exam namely MAT and CMAT for students admission. Students applying for MBA are also eligible by clearing Common aptitude test (CAT). GLS University also accepts admissions on the basis of merit i.e good score in class 12 but special entrance exams are also conducted in online mode for some specific courses. Students desiring to pursue Ph.D programme should have master's degree in specific field and have cleared UGC NET.

The placement details for the batch passing out in 2024 are yet to be release on the official website. However, as per the students’ reviews on Shiksha page, GLS University recorded 80% placements in the academic year 2023- 2024. The CMAT admit card will be available for download until the exam day. They link for downloading it will be removed after the exam is over. It is advised that candidates download their CMAT admit cards as soon as it is released so that they have ample time to check their test centre location. Candidates living in locations where they have to travel far to reach the CMAT centre must specifically download their admit cards in advance and visit the test centre once to check the location and distance so that they don’t get late on the exam day.
