CSIR NET Cut Off & Merit List 2023: Important Points to Note

The NTA has listed down the following important points for the CSIR NET cut off & merit list:

There is no separate CSIR NET cut-off 2023 for Parts A, B & C. The cumulative marks of all three parts have been taken by the CSIR for preparing the CSIR NET merit list 2023.
CSIR NET merit list 2023 ranks are first allotted to all successful candidates qualifying for JRF as per the merit list of JRF and then the candidates are distributed between CSIR and UGC, except Bachelor’s degree holders who are allotted to CSIR.
There is a minimum benchmark of 33 per cent for the General, EWS & OBC categories and 25 per cent in respect of SC/ ST and PWD categories for both fellowship and lectureship.
