Q: What entrance exam scores does Gondwana University accept for admission to MBA?

Exams MAH CET/ CAT/ MAT/ CMAT/ XAT/ ATMA/ GMAT is accepted for admission to the MBA course at the university. A bachelors' degree of minimum 3-Years after 10+2 examination, from a recognised board with a minimum aggregate of 50% (45% for SC/ST/PwD). Candidates in the final year of graduation are also eligible, provided they have a certificate from the head of the college. A valid cut-off score of CAT/GMAT. PGCET Passing Marks for MBA admission: The minimum marks to be attained should be at least 50 percent (for candidates belonging to the general category) and 45 percent (for candidates belonging to the SC / ST category).

Q: What is the latest cutoff information for MBA at Gondwana University?

CAT cut offs for top IIMs usually range from 98 to 100 percentile for General category students. For reserved category students the IIM cut offs are slightly lower around 95 to 98 percentile. The CAT cut offs for admission to top MBA colleges such as FMS, MDI, SPJIMR among others, range from 90 to 99 percentile. Minimum marks of passing will be 35% of the total marks allotted to that paper/internal assessment/practical. A candidate has to pass individuality in theory papers/internal assessment/practical separately. Gondwana University follows a CGPA system. You can convert your CGPA into percentage by using the formula mentioned below. For example, if your CGPA is 5.75, the equivalent percentage will be = (5.75 - 0.75) *10 = 50%.

Companies like Infosys, Cognizant, IBM, Tech Mahindra, Wipro, etc., visited the campus with a higher package of INR 10 LPA and an average package of INR 4 LPA. Its Placement Cell helps students attain jobs after completing their respective courses. The objective of the college is to provide industrial exposure in the respective field the student chooses to pursue after graduation. The students of Gondwana University get internships in different companies like ICICI, Axis, ACC cement, etc. The top roles offered were in the field of Sales, Marketing, etc. The highest stipend offered was around INR 25,000 per month, and the average stipend was INR 10,000 per month.

Average college experience.

Placements: The placement rate for our course fluctuates, ranging from a low of 30% to a maximum of 60%. While some lucky people secure high-paying jobs, others settle for lower packages. Companies like Haldiram Nagpur and ICICI Bank are among the top recruiters.

Infrastructure: Facilities for the course/department encompass basic amenities like labs, classrooms and libraries. Medical facilities are available but may be basic, and sports facilities are present for recreational purposes. Canteen food quality is satisfactory.

Faculty: The faculty in the course are generally helpful and knowledgeable, although there might be variations in teaching quality among different instructors. Semester exams can be moderately challenging, with a fair pass percentage reflecting a balance between rigour and achievable standards.

Other: Our batch focuses on HR and finance. I chose this course for its career prospects and personal interest.

Other: College is clean. The faculty members are good and friendly. The library is outstanding and canteen is so big. Bad things are, there are ACs, but not in working condition, Wi-Fi speed is slow and its reception is weak. The college lacks a general store.
