Review of Graphic Era University - GEU.

Placements: About 10% of the students got placed out of which 8% of the students left the job. The average salary package offered is 1.90 LPA. There are no major recruiting companies. Students are placed in Infosys with a basic salary in other states. Attendance is a big issue here, and students have to maintain 85% of attendance, which is not an easy task.

Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure are very bad for the course. It lies in the CS and IT block, which is usually used as parking for most of the people. Guards are very rude, arrogant and usually never help you. Food in the mess is not good, and the canteen is very bad.

Faculty: Teachers here are good. Some of them should teach students of arts as they are just repeating what is in books by dictating the chapter and making students write all things. Some teachers are good and teach with the help of debates and GD.

Other: I have chosen B.Com marketing course.

Review of Graphic Era University.

Placements: Around 80% of the students got placed from the college among which I was placed with Wipro. The highest salary package offered was of 35 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was of 3.5 LPA. Wipro, Infosys, Amazon, Byju's are the top recruiting companies. Roles like HR and project engineers were offered. Many students got internship opportunities in top companies.

Infrastructure: The classrooms had all kinds of facilities. It is a quite big campus with 3 cafeterias inside and some tuck shops. Wi-Fi facilities were good for the entire college. Hostel rooms were very spacious, clean, hygienic and with good furniture. All the sports were played there.

Faculty: Teachers were very cooperative and supportive. Most of them were PhD holders with wide knowledge about the subject as well as the outside world. The course was relevant and was very helpful during placements. It was quite an advantage for us.

Other: I was more interested in accounts and finance hence chose this as my course. For this, maths was not compulsory, but I think it should be included. We have the greatest fests in our college in which celebrity concerts take place.

Overall the university is good and pays greater emphasis on academics.

Placements: I am still pursuing the course, so I am not yet placed, but every year 3-4 companies come to recruit B.Com (H) graduates and about 65% - 75% of the students are placed every year by their consistent grades throughout the course. Two of the companies that visited the college is Mahindra and Wipro.

Infrastructure: Graphic Era University has a great campus, and the infrastructure is excellent the buildings are big with spacious and smart classrooms. There is a separate cafeteria for every building, and the transportation network is also good. The campus is eco-friendly and has a lot of trees and grass along with a big sports field. Excellent hostel facility is also there but expensive.

Faculty: The faculty is good in Graphic Era University and are very experienced. They emphasise more on interactive sessions rather than typical lectures. When it comes to extracurricular activities, it is on a lower side as the activities take place, but students don't go for them as 75% attendance is compulsory and students have to attend classes over activities, to attain the attendance benchmark.

Other: Grafest takes place every year in summers and is must to attend. As the students enjoy a lot and the standard of the fest is excellent and gives students a lot of exposure.
