The college needs improvements.
Placements: Placements have not been up to the mark in recent years and require much improvement. In the earlier days, recruiters used to come on campus quite often, but now their numbers have fallen a little bit. Students from previous batches have been offered salaries between Rs. 40,000- Rs. 90,000. These are not up-to-date statistics. There is a need for more reputable recruiters.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure differs in different blocks. Classrooms and the library are fairly good. There is a need for updating and having more books related to law. We have a Wi-Fi facility in the college, but it does not work all the time. Classrooms require more air conditioning, water coolers, and proper maintenance. The canteen requires much improvement in its cleanliness.
Faculty: Faculty members are mostly competent and experienced. Teachers are available for academic support. The curriculum offers a good grounding in law as well as several interdisciplinary fields. Students can also get practical exposure through moot courts, internships, research, presentations, and other competition activities. Examinations held at the end of every semester require regular study and conceptual knowledge. The level of difficulty is different for every subject. There is a need for some more practical experience.
Other: My choice is B.A. LL.B. Since I wished to pursue law as my profession while simultaneously acquiring knowledge about other disciplines as well. Positive points include the chance to participate in internships, moot court, legal research, competitions, societies, and legal aid work. An advantage of this course is that it is located in Delhi, since it will provide legal exposure. The areas that need improvement include placements, basic infrastructure, library resources, and student facilities related to the law.

Good College for pursuing Law
Placements: We have an entirely different VIPS Placement Cell that offers placements in the corporate sector, but you have to be among the top students to get this benefit. Around 500 students are in one batch. Also, I asked many seniors, and they even said that you will get many placement opportunities.
Infrastructure: The environment of the college is fantastic! There are 4 libraries in total, and all hallways, classrooms, labs, etc. are fully air-conditioned. The canteen area consists of several food shops where you can get almost every Delhi food you want to have and the quality is top notch. My favourite part of my college is that I feel alive here, as there is so much greenery all around. There are washrooms on every floor and there are around 7–9 floors in the law building. They even have a separate meditation room where you can calm your nervous system and brain after a hectic day, which is amazing.
Faculty: The faculty members are especially very helpful in every manner, from teaching you the basics to providing you with several competition and internship opportunities. Faculty members organise many educational events related to ADR, Moot Court, etc. from time to time. Semester examinations are of a moderate level to test your knowledge.
Other: Vivekananda Institute of Professional Studies VIPS-TC is situated in Pitampura, New Delhi. The nearest metro station is Haiderpur Village on the Magenta line. They organise one fest every year and also invite good singers to perform. I hope you will definitely enjoy it. The environment of the college is great. The crowd is excellent, as most people are from Delhi only, so you will find people who will match your vibe. You will definitely make great memories here over the span of the entire 5 year course.

A good college life where I live my best days.
Placements: Around 30% of students were placed in my course. The highest package was around 8 LPA. The lowest was around 2 LPA. Top recruiting companies were HDFC Bank and Deloitte. I don't remember the exact number of students who got internships. The top roles were mainly Manager and BDA positions.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure in my college were really average. Some classrooms did not even have air conditioning. There was no Wi-Fi, but labs and library were good. The quality of food was also average. There was a big college ground, but there was not much focus on sports in the college. The medical facilities were good.
Faculty: Teachers were really helpful. I would like to mention that they were qualified professors. They were knowledgeable. The course was curriculum-relevant. It helped make students industry-ready. The exams were not very tough. 40% was the passing mark.
Other: I chose it because this course helped me gain many skills. It helped me improve my confidence in handling different situations. I think my course should have included more practical learning, so that students could gain more.

In short, the best things you can get here are faculty members and the books in the library.
Placements: The college is really good and organises different workshops and job fairs for students. Many students also get placements and internships through these programmes. However, I still haven't participated in any kind of programme. If you are doing internships, they help you continue them.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good. The classrooms here are really spacious. The library really has so many good books. I have never used the Wi-Fi, but labs, classrooms, and library are very good. Now, because they have renovated the library, it has become even better.
Faculty: The best thing about this college is its faculty members. They are very helpful and really good at teaching. They are well-qualified and knowledgeable. The internal exams and viva they conduct are very strict here. There is an attendance issue, but it can be managed.
Other: I am studying law here. The college really helps organize many events that are very helpful for students. But of course, there is a lot to improve.

Infrastructure is not really good and can be improved.
Placements: No good companies come to this college. The placement cell group is good it provides you with good internship and job opportunities. The college placement drives were not up to the mark. Other colleges have better placements, maybe it's just me who didn't like this college's placement.
Infrastructure: It can be better if they swap wooden seats for cushioned seats. Now they have provided AC and smart boards in every classroom. Wi-Fi facilities are not available only available in the library. Canteen is not up to the mark. The food is also not that great. Tea is sometimes good.
Faculty: Faculty is really good and educated. They do their job perfectly but sometimes are stricter than necessary. The pass percentage to complete the degree is 4.0 CGPA. The tests are knowledgeable and get you ready for the external examination. Students get industry-ready.
Other: Fiestas are not that great can become better if the whole college is used to get exciting activities rather than just using the ground.

Good college but no college life, especially for day scholars.
Placements: TCS and Wipro come for mass hiring. Top 10 packages are off campus. Around 70 percent of students got placed with 5 LPA median package. The recession in the job market has affected the placements in recent years lower branches like EEE and below have negligible placements.
Infrastructure: Classrooms and labs have ACs, and overall the whole college has good and maintainable infrastructure. Although the college is not so big area-wise, it is maintained properly. Labs are not the latest or up-to-date but are pretty decently equipped with instruments, except for some labs.
Faculty: Teachers are well qualified for their fields and subjects and have a good amount of experience. Most of the teachers have good behaviour towards students and are kind, except a few especially in the 1st year of B.Tech. The curriculum like most Indian colleges and schools, is outdated.
Other: I chose my course as I got allotted on IPU counselling. Fests are non-existent. The nearest metro station is 6- 7 km away, which is too far. The college locality is very underdeveloped and boarding.

While choosing a GGSIPU affiliated college in Delhi NCR for 2026 admission, students must consider few things like  their entrance scores, the priority of branch over brand, campus location and the placement records.

An IT branch allotment at BVCOE Delhi means you have cleared the eligibility, but GGSIPU requires a 55% aggregate in PCM for B.Tech, presenting a conflict with your 51% PCM mark.
