GGSIPU MBA placement data 2024 is not released. However, according to GGSIPU Management NIRF report 2024, the median package offered over the past three years during IPU MBA placements is presented below:

IPU is counted among the good universities in the country. GGSIPU is ranked 1001-1200 by the QS World University Rankings 2024. In the NIRF 2024 ranking, it was ranked 80 under the "University" category. The placement data for the GGSIPU BBA course is not available as of now. The highest and average package offered stood at INR 45 LPA and INR 12 LPA, respectively for IPU Engineering (USCIT) placements 2022.

The cutoff trend for BTech at Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University has been decreasing in the recent years. In 2021, the closing rank for BTech under general category for all India quota was 90378. In 2022, it decreased to 85744. Likewise, the cut off ranks have changed from 90378 to 81426 for OBC, 190098 to 224720 for SC, 662196 to 390021 for ST, 102979 to 101883 for EWS, . This trend is likely to continue in the coming years, as the demand for engineering education in India continues to grow. Similar cut off trend can be seen for female candidates under all categories however the ranks are slightly different.

GGSIPU admissions are open. A few more updates related to GGSIPU admissions are as follows:

• PhD admissions for winter session is open. The university will conduct the entrance test on Dec 22, 2025.
• The NEET UG Counselling 2025 has concluded, with the final seat allotment result of the stray vacancy round for admission to MBBS, BDS, and BSc (Nursing) courses.
• The CMAT 2026 exam is expected to be held in Jan 2026 for admission to the MBA, PGDM, and MMS courses.
• The CUET PG 2026 registration process for admission to PG courses is expected to begin in Jan 2026.
• The CUET UG 2026 registration window is expected to open in the first week of Mar 2026 for admission to UG courses.
• The NIMCET 2026 application form is anticipated to be available in April 2026 for admission to the MCA course.
• The CLAT 2026 exam for admission to the five-year Integrated LLB (UG) and one-year LLM courses will be held on Dec 7, 2025.
• The XAT registration process 2026 is now open for MBA/PGDM courses. The last date to register is Dec 5, 2025. Furthermore, the XAT 2026 exam will be held on Jan 4, 2026.
• The GATE 2026 exam for admission to ME/Mtech and PhD courses will be conducted on Feb 7, Feb 8, Feb 14, and Feb 15, 2026.

Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University's annual hostel cost is INR 29,500. Mess and welfare fees are not included in the hostel fees. The fee for the mess is INR 36,000, while the cost of the welfare is INR 3,000. Candidates need to submit three demand drafts: one for hostel fees, one for mess charges, and one for welfare charges. Two hostels are maintained on campus for male students, and two are maintained for female students. There are more than 180 single-seat rooms in each hostel. Basic furnishings such as a cot, mattress, pillow, chair, table, cupboard, tube lamp, and fan are provided in each room. Mess facilities are available for residents in each hostel. Residents also have access to a common area, a gym, a reading room, and sports facilities. For the hostels, there is a provision for 24-hour water and electrical services.

Based on JEE Main ranks, GGSIPU offers admission to various BTech courses. GGSIPU admission 2023 has been concluded with the release of Round 3 Seat Allotment Results of the counselling conducted by the university for the BTech course. Yes, IP University offers two-year B.Ed course. Admission to the course is based on merit in IPU CET/CUET followed by counselling round. Moreover, the university also provide B.Ed (Special Education) courses in five specialisatons. Admission to the special education programmes is only through the IPU CET exam. Yes, GGSIPU is good in terms of placements. GGSIPU placement report for 2025 is yet to be released. However, as per the overall NIRF 2025 data, the median package offered UG-4 Year was INR 8.25 LPA. The median package offered to the UG 5-year was INR 8.39 LPA. While the median packages offered to the PG 1-Year and PG 2-Year students were INR 5.35 LPA and INR 6.95 LPA, respectively.

Guru Gobind Singh Indraprasth University admits to BTech, Integrated BTech and other courses based on the exam of JEE Main. The university publishes its cutoff in the form of their affiliated colleges, including Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Technology and Maharaja Surajmal Institute of Technology.
