Guru Gobind Singh Indraprasth University admits to BTech, Integrated BTech and other courses based on the exam of JEE Main. The university publishes its cutoff in the form of their affiliated colleges, including Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Technology and Maharaja Surajmal Institute of Technology. Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) - East Delhi Campus is an institution that has received an acceptance rating in the tier two category in India. It is known for its quality education and has a high recognition primarily in courses related to engineering and management. Still, such institutions attract more prestige than GGSIPU in the case of Indian Institutes of Technology (IIT) or Indian Institutes of Management (IIM). On the other hand, GGSIPU has decent academic programs, students’ placements and infrastructure hence, it becomes a decent option for those children who want quality education in Delhi without looking into the considerably more difficult admission procedures of the Tier 1 schools.

Getting admission to BTech at IPU University Delhi is not difficult for hardworking students. The IPU University Delhi admissions are based on merit and entrance exam scores. The accepted entrance exams are JEE Main,  IPU CET, and others. Candidates willing to get admission through JEE Main must prepare well for the JEE Main exams. Students must read the JEE Main books and prepare accordingly. 

Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University offers admission to MBA course through its affiliated college IITM in the full time mode. Candidates seeking admission to GGSIPU must have a valid score in CMAT. Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, however, doesn't release CMAT scores in the public from last few years. Candidates having a valid score in are called for the GGSIPU Counselling based on the scores. GGSIPU accepts CMAT scores for admission to the MBA course across other affiliated colleges as well. Going as per the past year cutoff data, candidates seeking admission can expect an overall cutoff of 85.

The total seats available for the IPU B.Ed programmes is 1,900. Additionally, the seats for B.Ed special courses is 243 (As per past years' data). It includes the seats available in the affiliated colleges. At the time of seat allotment, candidates are admitted as per this seat intake only. All the B.Ed offering IPU colleges have a seat intake of 100 for the course. The mentioned seat count is as per the official website/sanctioning body.

Indraprastha University BTech admission is done on the basis of a valid score of JEE Main. In the case of GGSIPU admission to B Tech in Biotechnology, a candidate must take up IPU CET or CUET. The flagship programme of the university is the BTech course that is distributed over the course of four years and has eight semesters. The IPU BTech course selection is done by a centralised counselling of the course. Admission to other UG programs as BSc, BCA, BCom (Hons), B.Ed, BA (JMC), BHMCT, BBA, BA (Hons) and BVoc among others is also done on the basis of a valid IPU CET score, which is administered by the University.

Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University - East Delhi Campus has below criteria for taking admissions to it's various courses:

B.E. / B.Tech	Note: Blind (including colour blind), deaf and/or dumb candidates shall not be eligible for admission in these courses.
B.Des	Candidates must have passed 10+2 in any stream (Science / Commerce/ Arts or Humanities) conducted by any recognised Board of Education.
M.Des	Candidate must have completed graduation in any professional degree like Bachelor of Design or Bachelor of Architecture or Bachelor of Engineering or Liberal Arts or Humanities or other equivalent four year degree program.

Most of the GGSIPU course admissions are based on entrance test scores. GGSIPU usually don't provide any scope of direct admission to the students. Students must clear the entrance examinations to get admission to the available programmes. 

Candidates need to appear for the IPU CET entrance exam conducted by Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University for BBA. Further, students must have to follow a seat allotment process via IPU CET Counselling. GGSIPU now also accept CUET-UG scores for admission to this UG course. Interested candidates need to apply offline by paying the requisite fee of INR 2,500. 

GGSIPU AYUSH cutoff 2024 was concluded for admission to BAMS and BHMS courses. The last round closing ranks for the General AI category candidates were 37435 and 110826 for BAMS and BHMS, respectively. Thus, the General AI category candidates can get admission to the college with 50000 rank in AYUSH. However, at this rank, candidate can get admission to BAMS but not BHMS. 

IP University has a good placement record for BCA candidates. Many of the candidates also opt for higher studies after this course.
