No, CAT is not the only exam based on which admission is granted. GGSIPU accepts the CAT percentile for MBA admission basis on which a merit list of selected candidates is released for the counselling round. Moreover, for the MBA in IT course, the university conducted IPU CET exam is accepted. In case the seats are left vacant after CAT candidates, then the seat allotment is carried out based on the candidate's CMAT scores.

Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) - East Delhi Campus is an institution that has received an acceptance rating in the tier two category in India. • PhD admissions for winter session is open. The university will conduct the entrance test on Dec 22, 2025.
• The NEET UG Counselling 2025 has concluded, with the final seat allotment result of the stray vacancy round for admission to MBBS, BDS, and BSc (Nursing) courses.
• The CMAT 2026 exam is expected to be held in Jan 2026 for admission to the MBA, PGDM, and MMS courses.
• The CUET PG 2026 registration process for admission to PG courses is expected to begin in Jan 2026.
• The CUET UG 2026 registration window is expected to open in the first week of Mar 2026 for admission to UG courses.
• The NIMCET 2026 application form is anticipated to be available in April 2026 for admission to the MCA course.
• The CLAT 2026 exam for admission to the five-year Integrated LLB (UG) and one-year LLM courses will be held on Dec 7, 2025.
• The XAT registration process 2026 is now open for MBA/PGDM courses. The last date to register is Dec 5, 2025. Furthermore, the XAT 2026 exam will be held on Jan 4, 2026.

As per the IP University 2023 brochure, the duration of all the MCA courses is two-year. The course is further divided into semester pattern. There are four semesters during the course. The syllabus might also be defined semester-wise. Candidates have to pass all the semester exams in order to get a MCA degree from IPU.

IPU JEE Mains cutoff 2025 is out for all rounds and categories. The JEE Mains cutoff 2025 is released in the form of ranks for the students belonging to the AI and HS quota. JEE Main exam is conducted for admission to various BTech specialisations. Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University is a decent choice to pursue an MBA degree. Talking about the GGSIPU ranking, the University was ranked 65 in the Management category by the National Institutional Ranking Framework in 2024. Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University admission 2025 to MBBS course is based on NEET UG scores followed by NEET UG counselling. The university offers MBBS admission through two affiliated colleges including North Delhi Municipal Corporation Medical College and Hindu Rao Hospital and North Mahavir Medical College. Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University offers admission to MBA course through its affiliated college IITM in the full time mode. Candidates seeking admission to GGSIPU must have a valid score in CMAT. Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, however, doesn't release CMAT scores in the public from last few years. Candidates having a valid score in are called for the GGSIPU Counselling based on the scores. GGSIPU accepts CMAT scores for admission to the MBA course across other affiliated colleges as well. Going as per the past year cutoff data, candidates seeking admission can expect an overall cutoff of 85.  

Aspirants who have completed their graduation with a minimum of 50%-60% aggregate are eligible to apply for MBA programme at GGSIPU. Candidates with a 50% score in graduation can also apply provided the requirement of aggregate is 50% or below. For MBA specialisations requiring 60% or above aggregate, candidates need not get admission with 50%.  

Candidates need to complete their Class 12 or a equivalent with a minimum of 50% aggregate with English along with Mathematics or Computer Science or any other subject related to Computer Science to apply for BCA at GGSIPU. Hence, it is not mandatory to pass Mathematics. However, candidate must have passed one or other specified subjects in Class 12. 

Besides, aspirants who have passed a three-year Diploma in Engineering with a minimum of 50% aggregate are eligible to apply for the BCA programme.
