Q:   Is Mathematics required for BCA at GGSIPU?
A: 

Candidates need to complete their Class 12 or a equivalent with a minimum of 50% aggregate with English along with Mathematics or Computer Science or any other subject related to Computer Science to apply for BCA at GGSIPU. Hence, it is not mandatory to pass Mathematics. However, candidate must have passed one or other specified subjects in Class 12. 

Besides, aspirants who have passed a three-year Diploma in Engineering with a minimum of 50% aggregate are eligible to apply for the BCA programme.

Q:   What UG courses are offered at GGSIPU?
A: 

GGSIPU offers admission to many UG courses. The UG courses offered at the university include BE/BTech, BCA, BBA, BA LLB, BCom, BJMC, BBA LLB, BSc, BA, BA LLB, BA LLB (Hons), BEd, BPharma, BPT, BArch, BDS, BAMS, BMLT, BBA LLB (Hons), BHMCT, BHMS, BASLP, BDS, BSc (Post Basic) and a few other UG courses. Q:   Is BTech programme available at GGSIPU?
A: 

Yes, GGSIPU offers a four-year full-time BTech course across twenty-one specialisations at the undergraduate level. IPU BTech admission is completely entrance-based. Candidates seeking admission to Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University's BTech course must visit the official website of the University to apply online. Some of the BTech specialisations offered at IP University include Electrical & Electronics, Mechanical & Automation and Computer Science & Engineering, among others. 

Q:   What is the hostel fee at IPU?
A: 

Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University's annual hostel cost is INR 29,500. Mess and welfare fees are not included in the hostel fees. The fee for the mess is INR 36,000, while the cost of the welfare is INR 3,000. Candidates need to submit three demand drafts: one for hostel fees, one for mess charges, and one for welfare charges. Two hostels are maintained on campus for male students, and two are maintained for female students. There are more than 180 single-seat rooms in each hostel. Basic furnishings such as a cot, mattress, pillow, chair, table, cupboard, tube lamp, and fan are provided in each room. Mess facilities are available for residents in each hostel. Residents also have access to a common area, a gym, a reading room, and sports facilities. For the hostels, there is a provision for 24-hour water and electrical services.

Q:   What are the fees structures for BTech programmes at GGSIPU?
A: 

The total tuition fees for BTech is INR 2.3 lakh - INR 7.9 lakh at GGSIPU. This information is sourced from official website/ sanctioning body. It is subject to change. This fees does not include the university charges, security amount and student activity fees. 

Q:   What is the fee at GGSIPU for MBA course?
A: 

The total tuition fees for MBA is INR 1.5 lakh - 4.4 lakh. This fee range includes MBA course fees at several IPU colleges. Total course fee is total of multiple components such as tuition fee, library fee, registration fee, security deposit etc. 

Q:   Is CAT compulsory for MBA at IPU?
A: 

No, CAT is not the only exam based on which admission is granted. GGSIPU accepts the CAT percentile for MBA admission basis on which a merit list of selected candidates is released for the counselling round. Moreover, for the MBA in IT course, the university conducted IPU CET exam is accepted. In case the seats are left vacant after CAT candidates, then the seat allotment is carried out based on the candidate's CMAT scores.
