I was not satisfied with this college. I was expecting more.
Placements: There was no placement in 2023 in our college. They were giving placement to their favorites (nepotism). I don't think that the students got any kind of placement. After our graduation, NKT College became autonomous. I think the placement will be better than in 2023.
Infrastructure: There was a library in college. The librarian was very strict about his work. For sports, there was a gymkhana on the 7th floor, and students who are members of the gymkhana don't allow a non-member to come inside if they don't know you. I only went 5-6 times in my 3 years of course.
Faculty: Teaching quality was average. If you want to clean, then sit in college otherwise, attendance was not an issue. For Maths subject, I never understood what they taught. I always did classes for the Maths subject. Not every teacher was bad, some teachers were good.
Other: I chose this course because I wanted to graduate. Because I wanted to give some government exams.

SILB is an amazing institute for BBA.
Placements: Most students who desired to get placed got a placement. The highest package in the year 2020 was 5 LPA, and the lowest was 2.5 LPA. Most of the students got an internship in our course. Top roles offered were Axis Bank, ICICI, and many other companies came as well.
Infrastructure: The facilities available were good. The infrastructure was also good, with good Wi-Fi, good labs, and good classrooms. Library was also good. SILB did not offer hostel as such. The quality of food available in canteen was good. Medical facilities offered were also nice.
Faculty: Teachers were helpful and nice the teaching quality was also good. This course curriculum was relevant. It made students industry-ready. The semester exams were average in college. The pass percentage was around 70%. The quality of teaching was also good regular assessment use to happen.

The real truth of government college.
Placements: Only such students get a chance who get good marks but the placements are not so beneficial. Students are satisfied with these placements so they firmly find a job by themselves. A BBA course from this college is not so precious. The standard of BBA in this college is not well.
Infrastructure: There is no hostel in the college. There is a canteen where there is no availability of food varieties and the caterers are not well. The building of the college is not good, and many corners are broken. Many rooms are dirty and unclean. A mess is available. Most washrooms are not clean, and students have to use washrooms in an emergency.
Faculty: Teachers make partiality. They are well-qualified but not very supportive. Many times they do not come to class and in class, they don't teach students in a better way. Several students who do not even have completed attendance get seats in exams. It is totally easy of time to seek education here.
Other: Our batch is totally full of bad students who are always ready to make trouble for others. Even teachers do not look at them. I wish there were good facilities in the college and a disciplined environment. The administration of the college is not active.

The eligibility requirement for HPU UG courses is a minimum of Class 12. However, graduation is required for PG courses. Below is course-wise HPU eligibility for top programmes:

Q: When will the HPU MAT registration begin?
A:
HPU Management Aptitude Test (HPU MAT) 2026 registrations will commence in second week of April 2026. Candidates interested in admission to MBA programme of Himachal Pradesh University must fill the online application form on or before the last date. The HPU MAT application form can be filled in online mode only. HPU will commence the HPU MAT 2026 registrations soon after the release of notification. Candidates must ensure to fulfill the prescribed eligbility criteria before filling the application form. To complete the HPU MAT 2026 registrations candidates must ensure to pay the HPU MAT application fee of INR 1000. The application fee can be paid in online mode only.

Review of Government College, Kullu.
Placements: The college doesn't provide placements. They provide internships. Recently I was chosen for an internship at The Times of India in sales and marketing for 45 days. It was a very learning experience but no placements are there I cannot say for other courses but in mine, it is not there.
Infrastructure: I attend a government college, and overall, everything is well-maintained. I live in my own house, so I can't provide details about the hostel. Classrooms, workspaces, sitting areas, library, canteens, and, especially, the sports facilities are decent. It is a nice soothing place which is not so much hyped but decent.
Faculty: Teachers are pretty good at their respective jobs. They guide properly. They are helpful and knowledgeable. Semester exams are not that hard and students have a good understanding about it so the rate of failure is low. The course curriculum makes the students industry but involving themselves in internships and extracurricular activities can help.
Other: I have chosen BBA because I have had many businesses from the beginning. Our college must give some placements and internships the placement opportunities are zero and internships are about very few. Extracurricular activities are there but not so much the college is pretty crowded and events are not so many.

Highest package after BBA is INR 12 Lacs and the lowest is INR 1 Lacs

Top roles are MANAGER, HR, etc.
If we talk about HPU, it is ranked 24 in all over India so you can make your decision.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure of HPU include top notch sports ground, Wi-Fi, classrooms, top notch library.
Hostels are available in HPU. Food quality is top notch. Everyday there is a new menu. Medical facilities are also available
Sports games, sports grounds, sports funds, everything is available.
Faculty: Yes, teachers are qualified. Maximum teachers in the university are Ph.D. knowledgeable teachers. They all have cleared exams, interviews, GD after that they got this job. This course's curriculum is relevant. BBA degree is business line course so makes us industry-ready. Exams difficulty level is not that much. Exams are easy and we can clear it if we attend lectures carefully.
Passing percentage is 30%.
Other: I choose BBA course because I am interested in business world. Best thing about BBA is it develop our skills, I see more opportunities in business domain and my main aim is not to seek job but I want to be the job provider. Events and fests are held in December/ January months, campus crowd is almost 2 to 3 thousand students, campus surrounding is peaceful and all campus is covered by trees and mountains. You get scholarship if you score more than 75% in your 12 board exams.

Himachal Pradesh University in heaven.
Placements: There are 64 students in our class, in which 40 are having subsidised seats and the rest 24 are having non-subsidised seats. Subsidised seat students pay less fees than non-subsidised students. The highest package offered is ₹25,000. HPU gives package offers mostly to PG courses; in UG courses, only 2-3 students get placed. There is no internship for UG courses. If you want to do an internship, you have to do it on your own by taking an NOC from the office.
Infrastructure: The campus of UG courses is very small. UG courses' campus is separate from the main HPU university. So BBA students are in the University College of Business Studies, where the campus is very small, with one lab for BCA students and one library. Hostels are not available for UG courses; only PG courses get hostels.
Faculty: Our teachers are very helpful and qualified. They have a lot of knowledge and always help us to solve problems and in studies. They are very understanding and supportive. I think semester exams are not that much hard; if you study, then it is very easy. 90 to 95% got passed in semester exams.
Other: I chose this course because I want to work in the banking sector. The campus should be improved, more facilities should be given, and they should work on skill development. Internships should be provided.

Poor infrastructure and dissatisfied with the faculty of Himachal Pradesh University Shimla UCBS.
Placements: There is no placement provided by the college, and internship is necessary. You have to do an internship outside in any corporate company for a certain period of time. The college does not provide internships or placements. Being a professional degree, an internship is required.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is not so good. The library is very small, and the lab is also very small. Classrooms are not so well-equipped, and the furniture is also not good. There is no hostel service provided by the college, but rooms are available near the campus.
Faculty: There are no midterm examinations or other tests; only finals are taken at the end of each semester. There are 26 semesters in the course over a period of 3 years, with two semesters per year. At the end of each semester, there is a final exam of 70 marks, and 30 marks are for assessments given by the professor for each subject, based on assignments, attendance, and class performance.
Other: There are no fests or events in the college. The surroundings are quite peaceful, but no sports or extracurricular activities are done in the college.

Everything is good in this university.
Placements: Almost everyone got placed in good companies like Aditya Birla and IDFC First Bank, etc. Everyone has done their internship, as it is mandatory to be done by every student. To be a part of an internship, the top role offered for our course was Sales Executive.
Infrastructure: The facilities that were provided by the university are access to free Wi-Fi and library access 24/7. The hostels were neat and clean. We had access to indoor games that were available on the hostel premises, like table tennis, billiards, carrom, chess, etc.
Faculty: The teachers were well-qualified and experienced and had full knowledge of the course that was obtained by the university. According to me, semester exams are not very difficult because all the doubts are well-cleared in the classes themselves by teachers, so you won't feel it is difficult.
Other: I had chosen this course because my family had a business background, and it helped me in getting knowledge about business.
