Master of Laws (LLM) 

at HNLU Raipur, Raipur

Candidates are selected for LLN course at Hidayatullah National Law University (HNLU), on the basis of their score in the CLAT exams. They must appear for the exam and achieve a valid aggregate in the same. Candidates have to appear for the counselling process of CLAT. After completing the selection process, students must pay the tution fee of HNLU to confirm their seat in the university.

Hidayatullah National Law University offers five specialisations under the LLM programme, namely Corporate Law, Intellectual Property Rights Law, Technology & Law, Environmental Law, and Public Law.

Registered candidates for CLAT 2023 counselling will be called by the respective NLUs through five provisional merit lists, each released by the Consortium of CLAT.Same is the procedure for HNLU Raipur. Specialization wise breakup for LL.M seats in HNLU Raipur -

 Hidayatullah National Law University offers a total of 60 seats for the LLM programme. 

The Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) PG Examination is considered one of India's most popular LLM entrance examinations. The CLAT examination consists of 150 questions, the exam follows a negative marking scheme. 0.25 marks will be deducted from the total score in the examination for every incorrect answer and the scores obtained in CLAT 2023 will determine applicants' merit ranks, which are used to make admission choices. The expected CLAT cutoffs for 2024 are 95-100 for general and 80-85 for SC/ST/OBC. Under the new pattern, it might be 80-90 for general and 70-80 for SC/ST/OBC.

According to the official placement reports, HNLU doesn't release the highest salary package data. However, the salary package range offered during HNLU Raipur placements in recent past stood between INR 12 LPA and INR 16 LPA.

Hidayatullah National Law University accepts the CLAT entrance exam for admission to its B.A. LLB(Hons) course at the undergraduate level. HNLU Raipur CLAT cutoff 2025 for Round 1 is out for different categories of students in the All India and Home State quotas. For the AI quota, the CLAT first round cutoff 2025 for BA LLB (Hons) programme stood at 765. For the HS quota, the cutoff rank for admission to the BA LLB (Hons) course was 3770. The top course in HNLU Raipur is B.A.LL.B (Hons) most of the students take this to pursue their career in law and also the placements in the previous year in this course offers a good CTC,  Huge placements are provided in our college. Around 78 students get placed in our course. The highest salary package offered is 12 LPA and the lowest salary package is 3.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies are AZB and Partners, ICICI Bank, Wadia Handy, S&R Associate, Induslaw, Khaitan, etc.

Faculty: Faculty members in our college are experienced and dedicated to providing quality education to students. Some of them encourage students to engage in legal research, moot court competitions, seminars, and workshops. The course curriculum is relevant, but students are not ready to face it because of the poor teaching of some faculty members. Semester exams are comprehensive so students have to study well.Even the faculty members those who teach this subject are well knowlegeded

Your chances depends on two important factors. Number one is your category and number second is this year's cut-off. As per last year's trend closing rank for the following were :- 1. General - 765 2. ST - 14977 3. SC - 9735 Final rank till which HNLU Raipur admitted student was 37607. So, there are still chances for you if you have reservation or Domicile of Chhattisgarh or you are Dependents of Freedom Fighters of Chhattisgarh (DFF-CHT).
