Absolutely dissatisfied with the university.

Placements: During my Masters, not a single company was invited for a placement drive. There was no placement cell either. The students got jobs on their own by attending off-campus interviews at companies. There was no effort from the university to place their students.

Infrastructure: There were no hostels for boys and girls. Not even one lab was provided at my time. There was no canteen on the campus. No Wi-Fi was available in the university. There were some books available for issuing from the library. There was no medical facility available.

Faculty: The teachers were not good. I don't think they were even qualified (NET/GATE). The teaching was not up to the mark. The course was designed similarly to the Bachelor's in Computer Science Engineering, which is not relevant to the industry. Exams were difficult. The pass percentage was 50-60%.

Other: I only chose this course because I was preparing for the competition. Another reason to join was that it was a government institute.

Our college has a good curriculum, and it provides good facilities.

Placements: Our batch started in August 2022. This course is for 2 years in computer science and engineering. HPTU University is very updated and continuously trying to grow students in every possible way. Our batch has 65 students. The fee is about Rs. 35,000. Most companies, like TCS, Infosys, etc., recruit students. Almost all students get internships from Microtek, Luminious, and other companies that require trainees.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good. All labs are properly maintained with Wi-Fi. Classrooms and the library are maintained well. Hostel facilities are not available here, but other colleges under this university have hostels. They are well maintained, with playgrounds and Wi-Fi. There is an auditorium to conduct events.

Faculty: The quality of teaching is good. Teachers are well educated. They help to solve all the problems. They are polite. This course is relevant. It makes students industry-ready. Students have to do lots of research in their particular fields of interest. Teachers will help them with every topic. A lot of interest should be maintained. We can learn properly.

Other: I chose this course because I want to be a teacher and I am interested in research work. I am getting the opportunity to do research in this course. It is a decent course. There is nothing to improve. Events, fests, and different curricular activities are conducted continuously.
