Parent less students are eligible for financial assistance for full free scholarship of fee, if the

total family income of the student is less than Rs 2.50 Lacs from all source

Father less students / Low Income Group students are eligible for financial assistance for half free ship, if the total family income of the student is less than Rs 2.50 Lacs from all sources. In case the income of concerned is less than Rs 1.20 Lacs then he/she shall be eligible for financial assistance for full free ship. The scholarship can be avail by filling the scholarship form and by submitting ghe required documents. 

Every year lots of students from different places come to pursue their B.Tech at IKGPTU and mostly Punjab state engineering students might be in the majority and there are around 60 -120 seats for each  B.Tech field courses like IT, Electronics, Cs l, AI etc. are there so students can get their admission in their interesting fields and able to study there with good practical skills and knowledge of their fields and able to achieve their dreams. 

If you want to pursue B.Tech at IKGPTU College then for admission candidate must have passed 10+2 in the Science stream with a minimum score of 50% marks. Then the other selection is based on JEE Mains so you need to come in a certain range. There is no specific cutoff for Jee Mains. IKGPTU, earlier known as Punjab Technical University was established under Act of the State Legislature in 1997. The university affiliates 120+ AICTE and 65 UGC-approved colleges. The candidates must check the eligibility criteria before applying to the same, as the scholarships are offered to the candidates meeting the eligibility requirements. Scholarships offered are:

• IKGPTU Scholarship Scheme
• Post Matric Scholarship Scheme for SC / ST / OBC

Candidates can also apply to national-level scholarships offered by the government as the same is also accepted at IKGPTU.
