IGNOU UG Diploma (ODL/Online mode) admission 2026 is open. Other latest updates are as follows:
- The re-registration portal for Jan 2026 session is open, and the last date to register is Jan 15, 2026.
- The fresh registration portal is also open for Jan 2026 admission cycle, and the deadline is Jan 31, 2026.
IGNOU Diploma Admission 2023
In addition to the UG and PG courses, IGNOU also offers 25 diploma courses to the students across various streams, such as Humanities and Science, among others. The duration for all these courses is one year. However, the maximum duration for these courses can go up to three years.
NOTE: For the below specialisations, admission is offered in both January and July cycles. However, there are a few specialisations under Diploma that offer admission in either of the two January or July cycles.

The application process for Diploma at IGNOU is completely online. Candidates seeking admission must visit the official website. A step-by-step process of IGNOU Diploma application is as follows:
Step 1: Visit the official website of IGNOU. Click on 'Register Online and then on 'Fresh Admission'.
Step 2: In the next window, select ' Click here for New Registration'.
Step 3: Register online by adding all the required details.
Step 4: Log in using the credentials created during the registration process, fill out the form, pay the application fee and submit it.
