IIMT'S LIFE: An up-close view.
Placements: Placements at IIMT Meerut are decent, starting from the 7th semester. Companies like TCS, Infosys, and Wipro visit the campus. The highest package offered is 8 LPA, and the average is 3.5 LPA. Around 70% of students get placed, mostly in IT, engineering, and marketing roles.
Infrastructure: Labs and classrooms are very good and are kept updated. Hostels have facilities of Wi-Fi, food, and rooms with 2 students. Each room has one washroom, a geyser, and a water cooler. Breakfast, evening snacks, lunch, and dinner are provided. Well, electric kettles won’t work in rooms. Nearby PGs are cheaper, so I’ll recommend opting for PG instead of IIMT hostel.
Faculty: Faculty members are nice and helpful. Semester exams are not so difficult if you have studied for them. Question banks, assignments, and handwritten notes are provided online on the ERP. If needed, they could arrange PYQs too. Overall, faculty members are very helpful to students.

Raw review of IIMT University.
Placements: Out of 60 students in the 2021 batch, I hope that 50% of my seniors would get placed, as this was the first AIML batch of the university. I don't know right now, as the first batch would get placed in 2025. Google, Amazon, Facebook, Wipro, IBM, Oracle, and Flipkart are the top recruiting companies. I didn't have many contacts from the seniors, so I don't know about it as well. Machine learning engineer, data scientist, AI engineer, and big data engineer are the top roles offered in my course.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure in the university is well and good, please don't have high expectations. There are no AC classrooms, but ACs are available in computer labs. Wi-Fi is available in every building for faculty and students, but you can only access it using your personal I'd and it has a limit speed of 1MB/sec and data of 5GB. The library is also well and good. The hostel is average, and the food quality is below average. It takes time to solve a problem registered by the student. The canteens’ food quality is good. Sports and the rest of the facilities are good.
Faculty: Yes, teachers are helpful and knowledgeable. They teach properly and have good insight into their subject. Yes, the curriculum is relevant. No, as students have to make their own effort to be ready for the industry, and the curriculum only helps to boost the student. The difficulty of the exams depends on the students, as it depends on how well they have prepared for the semester exams. For me, the difficulty is moderate. The pass percentage is 33%.
Other: I chose this course as this was the best course the university could provide to me. The best thing about this course is that it is in demand and has high scope to grow into the most needed skills for companies. If the university could provide more practical knowledge, they should start teaching more fundamentals in the first year. If I had to say about events and fests, that would be the worst.

Absolutely satisfied with the placements and faculty.
Placements: I am a 2019-23 batch student of B.Tech CSE from IIMT Engineering College. Mostly, students were placed in my batch by the college placement department, and some companies like Webkul, Hike Education, and Jaro Education came to hire us. The top roles offered were BDE and software engineer.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is absolutely great, equipped with labs and proper classes for soft skills and extra co-curriculum as well. I didn't pursue the hostel facilities, but my other batchmates shared a positive review about the hostel and fooding provided by the college.
Faculty: Faculty are very helpful in terms of the course or any doubts. Semester exams are aligned with the course, and the difficulty level is intermediate. The pass percentage is 95%, but you need to write a lot to gain marks as it's AKTU structure, so gaining marks is a big task.
Other: I chose this course for versatile opportunities in the market and to grab more job opportunities. Events and fests are organised every year.
