IIULER Goa: Fees, Admission 2026, Courses, Placements

Both the AP LAWCET and CLAT entrance exam are conducted for admission to the Law schools in India, however, the syllabus for these exams are different on many parameters and candidates should strategise differently for both the exams. AP LAWCET exam has sections including Current Affairs, Legal Aptitude, Contract Law, Constitution, etc. and the CLAT entrance exam sections include English Language, Legal Aptitude, Mathematics, etc. AP LAWCET does not have mathematics subjects, AP LAWCET exam focus more on regional knowledge. CLAT generally covers the deeper aspects of the particular subject. 

Candidates applying to the BA LLB programme at IIULER Goa should have passed Class 12 with a minimum of 45% aggregate marks to be eligible. Eligible candidates are shortlisted based on score in CLAT exam.

The total tuition fee of BA LLB at IIULER Goa is INR 49.8 lakh. This number is taken from the official website of college. It may change. Meritorious students who have got good rank in CLAT exam can apply for scholarship.

Your CLAT rank acts as a direct "discount key" for your entire five-year journey at IIULER. If you work hard and rank in the top 5,000, your total expenditure drops significantly to INR 29,88,610. Even if your rank is between 10,001 and 15,000, you still benefit from a reduced total cost of INR 32,31,750. To be precise, higher your rank, lower the fees.

IIULER BA LLB (Hons.) is a 10-semester program. The first few years of the course focus on building a strong foundation in humanities, like Political Science and Sociology, alongside basic laws like Contracts and Torts. From the third semester, the focus shifts to Indian Legal System and the course becomes more specialised, covering Criminal Law, Corporate Law, and International Law. Each semester is designed to balance theoretical reading with practical research assignments and classroom debates.

IIULER follows a tiered fee system on the basis of the marks scored by the candidates in xam. If you secure a top rank between 1 and 5,000, your annual fee is discounted to INR 4,28,122. With the increase in ranks, the fee also goes up! For example, ranks between 10,001 and 15,000 pay INR 4,76,750, while those ranked 20,001 to 30,000 pay INR 5,62,000. For ranks 30,001 and above, the fee is INR 8,01,000. This structure makes a premium, international-standard legal education more affordable for students with high academic merit.

IIULER BA LLB (Hons.) fee is "all-inclusive". It covers the Tuition and Programme Fee, along with specialised charges for Library access, Computer and Internet usage, and Study Materials. Additional charges include Sports and Games, Student Welfare, and Amenities fees. A Moot Court Fee is also a part of the fee structure to provide access to top-tier training facilities. 

Candidates applying to PG courses at IIULER Goa should have an LL.B. Degree or an equivalent examination with a minimum of 50% marks or its equivalent grade in case of candidates belonging to General/OBC/NRI categories. Students should clear the cutoff in CLAT PG exam.

As per the rules of the Bar Council of India, there is no upper age limit for the five-year integrated law program.
