Our college is the oldest research institute in Asia and students don't need to pay to study.
Placements: At our college, there is no placement cell. Nobody comes here to get a job. All students are interested in research. Students go to different academic and industrial institutes for their research needs. The interview at the institute is a screening test for researchers only.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi and CCTV are present everywhere in the institute. The hostel facilities are very good. The speed of the internet is 10 GBPS in every hostel room. Hostels are equipped with TVs, washing machines, telephones, and a small library. The institute has a very good library.
Faculty: All teachers are very good. The course curriculum is not meant for industries. It's for research. One of the most talented researchers is teaching. Semester exams are not very difficult for students who study regularly. There are students with a backlog every year.
Other: It is not very crowded, but campus life is good. Students get Rs. 12,000 per month for studying here from the DST, GoI.

Review of Indian Association for the Cultivation of Science.
Placements: There is no placement cell in our institute. There are no students for placements but they opt for higher studies. Most of the students got internships in ISI, IISER, IITs, NCL, and IICB. Few seniors are doing Ph.D in better institutes and some are doing here.
Infrastructure: Our campus is Wi-Fi-enabled. We have a well-equipped laboratory. All classrooms are air-conditioned. The library is also air-conditioned, and several books are available. Air-conditioners are also available in study rooms. For medical facilities, we get reimbursement for any kind of treatment in any hospital. Sports like football, cricket, carrom, table tennis, and chess tournaments are conducted. Hostel facilities are moderate. The food served in the mess is average but the price is high. Canteen food is better at affordable prices.
Faculty: Professors are helpful, highly qualified, and knowledgeable. Few of them do not teach well. Our course curriculum is relevant for doing PhDs and not for industrial use. The difficulty level of semester exams is moderate, and we have relative marking.
Other: We can also get a monthly fellowship of Rs.12,000.
