College has good placements with a decent curriculum. But the infrastructure needs improvement.
Placements: Placements for CS and related branches at IGDTUW are outstanding, while for ECE, ECE AI, and MAE, they are decent. About 50% of students are getting placed. The average package is 18 LPA, with the highest at 1 crore (MotorQ) and the lowest is 4 LPA - 5 LPA. In ECE, the highest is 56 LPA (Adobe). Top recruiters include Google, Microsoft, Adobe, and Morgan Stanley, with internships at Google and BNY Mellon. Top role offered is SDE.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure at IGDTUW is satisfactory but has scope for improvement. Wi-Fi works well in the academic blocks but is inconsistent in hostels and some areas. Labs are functional but could be better equipped. Classrooms in ECE and CSE generally lack air-conditioning, which can be challenging during peak summers. Library provides good resources but often falls short on seating capacity during exams. Campus has a spacious ground for sports and activities. Although I haven't stayed in the hostel, friends share that the food quality is decent and the rooms, though slightly small, are manageable.
Faculty: Faculty members at IGDTUW are decent overall. Some professors are highly knowledgeable, supportive, and approachable, while a few are average in their teaching methods. The curriculum for ECE AI is quite relevant and keeps students industry-ready, as it includes computer science-related subjects along with core electronics. Subjects like artificial intelligence and data science are part of the curriculum, which adds great value. Semester exams are moderately difficult and can be managed with regular preparation. The pass percentage in most subjects remains above 95%, ensuring that students perform well with consistent effort.
Other: College is well-connected, with the Kashmere Gate metro station just 5-7 minutes away, making it very convenient for daily travel. IGDTUW hosts Taarangana, its annual cultural fest, which is conducted on a grand scale and draws huge participation. In addition, university supports academic excellence by offering scholarships to branch toppers, which motivates students to perform well.

Good placements, infrastructure, faculty, and campus.
Placements: At IGDTUW, every student is treated as a person who is here to gain knowledge, strength, affirmation, and recognition in their life. Students are encouraged to be efficient in all fields, whether it is tech, AI, sports, creativity, or academics. Placements are top-notch. I can proudly say that around 70–80% of students get placed at MNCs and other good firms. The top roles and highest-paying positions from my branch or any tech branch here are SDE and SWE roles.
Infrastructure: The campus here consists of a lot of greenery, and great care is taken of the trees and plants. The campus is covered with Wi-Fi. So, there is no issue with internet connectivity within the campus premises. The classrooms are well-ventilated and connected to nature, and some even have ACs. The hostel is good, but the food prepared is not of good quality. Some maintenance work remains pending for a long time, and no complaints are heard regarding the issues.
Faculty: Faculty, particularly in my branch, are very supportive and friendly. We never feel that they are just teachers or professors. We need to fear when putting our queries forward. All queries are handled with a great level of understanding. Sometimes, getting marks in core ECE subjects becomes tough, but it can be managed by following what your professors say, as all marks rely on them. So, be grateful to them.
Other: This course interested me since the upcoming wave in the tech industry is Artificial Intelligence. So giving preference to it is a must. All kinds of events are performed and managed here, such as sports fests, technical fests, and cultural fests.

It has good placements, seniors, fests, and opportunities, outweighing a few other things on campus.
Placements: Placements are better here than in other Delhi Government colleges, Students are required to do internships in their first year only, which gives us more upper hand and experience. The placement cell is very active here. Top companies that frequently recruit students from IGDTUW Delhi are Google, Microsoft, Adobe, Amazon, and other major technology and financial institutions.
Infrastructure: The campus is small, but that thing will be fine with time. Buildings are old. Science block looks are early 2000s infrastructure. The best buildings are the IT block and the administrative block. The worst is mechanical block. Wi-Fi is good and active 24 hours. Hostels and their food are not very appreciated, but that's only okay.
Faculty: Half of the classes get cancelled throughout the semester. A few bunch of teachers are really helpful and qualified and always ready for their students. Semester exams are pretty much from the syllabus only, and we can achieve good marks if we study properly. 30 marks are for mid-semester exams (only if we don't have a lab exam in that subject), and if we have a lab in that subject, then mid-semester is taken for 15 marks. End-semester exams are for 60 marks. 15 marks are for labs and practicals. 10 marks are internal, which depend on our teachers.
Other: My course is ECE-AI, and the benefit of this course is that it gives me a hand in both the software and hardware fields. The chip and semiconductor industry is a rising industry across the world, and this opens more paths than just tech. College fests are remarkable, and events are always consistent and knowledgeable. The campus surroundings are not too good. There are many monkeys, and we can see government wine shops at some distance from the college entrance.

Best placements and good return on investment .
Placements: More than 90 percent placements; the average package is 19 Lacs per annum for the ECE department. Top recruiters include Amazon, Apple, Google, and Microsoft. More than 80 percent of students get internships. The top roles offered are software developers. The highest placement for the last session in ECE AI was 56 LPA.
Infrastructure: The college has an active Wi-Fi connection, labs are present, and classrooms are well maintained. The quality of food in the canteen is decent. Medical facilities require attention. Sports and games are well played and managed. Cleanliness needs to be maintained.
Faculty: Teachers are knowledgeable. The teaching quality is decent. The curriculum is up-to-date and relevant. Semester exams are moderately difficult. Enough gaps are provided in between semester exams for good preparation. The pass percentage is more than 90 percent.

Good placements but otherwise poor infrastructure and facilities .
Placements: The placements for ECE have been good however the first batch of ECE-AI is yet to graduate so there is no statistical data regarding this particular branch. However, in 3rd year more than 50% people were able to get internships I. e on campus for the branch ECE- AI. Most students are placed in teach and software companies only with multiple students opting the off campus offers that include companies like microsoft etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is poor. The buildings are old and the electronics department gets very hot during summers with poor ventilation in classrooms. Infrastructure of IT block is better compared to ECE. Washrooms of ECE building are horrible. There is no cleanliness and the sell sometimes reaches even the classrooms. The projector of ECE classrooms rarely works. Library is average. It is fully AC with enough space to sit and study. The decorum and cleanliness is also well maintained. There is a badminton court behind IT block but it's mostly a hangout spot for monkeys and therefore not many students play there. The labs are average and fully AC. The systems are outdated however.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and most teach sufficient for the exams. Most of the teachers are PhDs and quite knowledgeable. However, when it comes to exams, students need to prepare themselves for the environment is much different from schools. Teachers only help when you seek them out. There is no spoon feeding. Course curriculum for ECE AI is fresh and more up to date as compared to ECE due to which most students are now referring ECE AI. Due to the integration of AI, students are required to learn multiple coding languages which keep them at par with CSAI students. Many subjects are similar to CS-AI. Exams are moderate difficult. Students can get an idea looking at the past year papers. The pass percentage is good enough with multiple students also averaging around 9 GPA each semester.
Other: With my percentile, this was the best suited course I could find. I opted ECE ai because of the curriculum being fresh and updated as compared to ECE. Best things about my course is its overlap between the electronics as well as software industry. I wish the lab and projects and overall hands on experience were better. In labs, we can get along with simply doing those age old experiments mentioned in the syllabus which leave no excitement or curiosity on the student' part. The campus life is underwhelming. The societies are rarely active with only the dance and drama societies being more active than the others. The campus is small due to which fests are also underwhelming with limited number of same old stalls like last year. There are a lot of monkeys in the campus that sometimes attack on students to snatch the things they have in hand. Connectivity to Kashmere GATE is great with the GATE no.7 being at just a 5 min walk from the campus. Campus is shared with the Ambedkar University crowd. One can find more ambedkar students changing around IGDTUW campus than IGDTUW girls on a fine day.
