Good placements, infrastructure, faculty, and campus.
Placements: At IGDTUW, every student is treated as a person who is here to gain knowledge, strength, affirmation, and recognition in their life. Students are encouraged to be efficient in all fields, whether it is tech, AI, sports, creativity, or academics. Placements are top-notch. I can proudly say that around 70–80% of students get placed at MNCs and other good firms. The top roles and highest-paying positions from my branch or any tech branch here are SDE and SWE roles.
Infrastructure: The campus here consists of a lot of greenery, and great care is taken of the trees and plants. The campus is covered with Wi-Fi. So, there is no issue with internet connectivity within the campus premises. The classrooms are well-ventilated and connected to nature, and some even have ACs. The hostel is good, but the food prepared is not of good quality. Some maintenance work remains pending for a long time, and no complaints are heard regarding the issues.
Faculty: Faculty, particularly in my branch, are very supportive and friendly. We never feel that they are just teachers or professors. We need to fear when putting our queries forward. All queries are handled with a great level of understanding. Sometimes, getting marks in core ECE subjects becomes tough, but it can be managed by following what your professors say, as all marks rely on them. So, be grateful to them.
Other: This course interested me since the upcoming wave in the tech industry is Artificial Intelligence. So giving preference to it is a must. All kinds of events are performed and managed here, such as sports fests, technical fests, and cultural fests.

It has good placements, seniors, fests, and opportunities, outweighing a few other things on campus.
Placements: Placements are better here than in other Delhi Government colleges, Students are required to do internships in their first year only, which gives us more upper hand and experience. The placement cell is very active here. Top companies that frequently recruit students from IGDTUW Delhi are Google, Microsoft, Adobe, Amazon, and other major technology and financial institutions.
Infrastructure: The campus is small, but that thing will be fine with time. Buildings are old. Science block looks are early 2000s infrastructure. The best buildings are the IT block and the administrative block. The worst is mechanical block. Wi-Fi is good and active 24 hours. Hostels and their food are not very appreciated, but that's only okay.
Faculty: Half of the classes get cancelled throughout the semester. A few bunch of teachers are really helpful and qualified and always ready for their students. Semester exams are pretty much from the syllabus only, and we can achieve good marks if we study properly. 30 marks are for mid-semester exams (only if we don't have a lab exam in that subject), and if we have a lab in that subject, then mid-semester is taken for 15 marks. End-semester exams are for 60 marks. 15 marks are for labs and practicals. 10 marks are internal, which depend on our teachers.
Other: My course is ECE-AI, and the benefit of this course is that it gives me a hand in both the software and hardware fields. The chip and semiconductor industry is a rising industry across the world, and this opens more paths than just tech. College fests are remarkable, and events are always consistent and knowledgeable. The campus surroundings are not too good. There are many monkeys, and we can see government wine shops at some distance from the college entrance.

A college that offers you the best placements, exclusive support from seniors, and exposure.
Placements: Placements are top-notch like they can even stand at par with top colleges of the country. This year, around 36 students got into Microsoft alone with a maximum package of 52 LPA. Last year, the highest placement offer was 1 CPA. The highest international offer was 82,000 pounds.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is something I'll suggest you do not even think about connecting to it, it's the worst. The infrastructure is not that good. Since the campus is pretty old, they define it as a heritage campus. The hostel food is very bad. I lost around 4 kgs in 1 week like I didn't have any appetite. Sports are not that much promoted. Medical facilities are there. A canteen is there. It has decent food.
Faculty: Most teachers are helpful and qualified. Most of them are knowledgeable but very few know how to teach properly. The course is pretty new and up-to-date. It makes students industry-ready. Semester exams are not that difficult. In each subject, you need a minimum of 45 out of 100 to pass.

Best placements and good return on investment .
Placements: More than 90 percent placements; the average package is 19 Lacs per annum for the ECE department. Top recruiters include Amazon, Apple, Google, and Microsoft. More than 80 percent of students get internships. The top roles offered are software developers. The highest placement for the last session in ECE AI was 56 LPA.
Infrastructure: The college has an active Wi-Fi connection, labs are present, and classrooms are well maintained. The quality of food in the canteen is decent. Medical facilities require attention. Sports and games are well played and managed. Cleanliness needs to be maintained.
Faculty: Teachers are knowledgeable. The teaching quality is decent. The curriculum is up-to-date and relevant. Semester exams are moderately difficult. Enough gaps are provided in between semester exams for good preparation. The pass percentage is more than 90 percent.

Good placement in 2025 and in the ECE-AI department. Infrastructure should be improved.
Placements: I'm a final year student from the ECE-AI branch at IGDTUW, 2025 passout. In our batch, approximately 70% to 80% are placed at decent packages, and the highest package is around 50 LPA, the average package is around 16-18 LPA, and the lowest package is about 7-8 LPA. The top recruiters include Amazon, Microsoft, Qualcomm, and Infosys. Approximately 80% of students got internships in companies like Samsung and Deloitte. The common jobs roles offered are software developer, data analyst, and machine learning engineer. Overall, the placements and internships have been very good in the batch. In my batch (2026), we have also got some amazing internship opportunities as well.
Infrastructure: The ECE-AI department at IGDTUW has an average environment. They provide good and well-equipped labs with Wi-Fi facilities. There is a decent library. Some facilities are a bit outdated. I'm a day scholar, but one of my best friend is a hosteller, she told me about hostel that it is just poor, like the food is so bad and tasteless, rooms are so small, and the rules and regulations are so strict. The medical facilities available are below average. The classrooms are not fully air-conditioned in ECE-AI department compared to IT department.
Faculty: Some of the teachers are helpful, but sometimes, I just feel like they show partiality towards students with their favourite ones. They are well-qualified, no doubt. In the end, everyone studies from a YouTube channel. Because the teacher has knowledge, but they don't know the way of teaching. The curriculum is so underrated, and it does not make students industry-ready. A student has to do it by themselves. Exams are a little bit harder, and the passing mark is 45/100.
Other: I chose this course just because of the placement at IGDTUW. The best thing about my course is that we can go for both sectors, hardware as well as software. The curriculum needs to be changed, and include some industry-level things, not only just assignments, files, and reports. Events are beneficial for the students who want to join them. The fest is good, and the campus crowd is okay. The connectivity is better, and the surroundings are good. They provide good scholarships according to fixed criteria. I got a Rs. 50,000 scholarship in my 2nd year. There is no specific sports complex.
