A Very Underrated Government College.
Placements: Placements are average, not up to expectations. The highest package for Textile 2024 was 16 LPA, and 2-3 people got it. Top recruiters are Trident, Arvind, and more. Almost all 3rd and 4th year students get internships. This is the textile processing branch; they teach textile chemistry here.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure and facilities are good for the textile department. Labs for the textile department are good, not very good. Hostel facilities are good, mess food is okay, also cheap. Fees are only 36,000 for the year. There's a snooker table at the hostel and a turf to play cricket, and also basketball and volleyball courts.
Faculty: The faculty is very good, teachers are very qualified and knowledgeable, though some are bad, they just read slides. The course in textiles is quite industry-ready, as much as I heard from seniors. This is textile processing engineering; it is more chemistry-oriented. We process the textile after the manufacturing is done.

Review on Institute of Chemical Technology.
Placements: 50% students get placed, and the rest go for higher studies. The highest is 16 LPA, the lowest is 3 LPA, and the average is 6 LPA. Recruiting companies are Trident, Bitra, Archroma, Aditya Birla, Reliance, BSaf, Siyaram, Vardhman, etc. Roles offered can range from marketing to shop floor work.
Infrastructure: Classrooms have air-conditioning and projectors. The library is well-equipped with books and journals. The food quality at the hostel is bad. Sports and games facilities are available. Hostel rooms are affordable, although they are quite small in size. The canteen food menu is limited, and the food is oily.
Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified and experienced. The course curriculum needs to be updated. Several seminars and programs are conducted, making students ready to work in the industry and grow there. Semester exams are easy to pass. The pass percentage is 90%.
Other: Campus life is best. There are multiple clubs, suiting all different kinds of personalities. Scholarships are available for students.

I have been loving this college.
Placements: The branch of textiles has been recently doing good in the placements zone. Students have been placed in Decathlon, Raymond, and more known places. Chemical engineering placements are indeed very good. Students are offered internships from the 3rd year itself, and an individual can start interning in the previous years as well at their own will with the help of faculty members.
Infrastructure: This college is known for research and technology. This college has very equipped laboratories. The campus is a very good place because it is greenery. The buildings are old and have a vintage feel to them. The surroundings are clean. There are 3 boys' hostels and 2 girls' hostels on the campus, and has every facility. The sports complex includes a badminton court, basketball court, tennis court, and a multipurpose turf. The canteen food is average. Overall, it is a good college.
Faculty: The first-year course is similar for all the B.Tech students and the faculty members are good. Teachers are highly qualified and intelligent people with commendable teaching qualities. After the first two seems the course more focuses on specific branches with faculty members specializing in that field. The curriculum gets updated very often so, students keep up with the latest research and technology around.
Other: I opted for this course, because my love for research in chemistry, and I do not regret any part of it. Students can live the best 4 years of college life as it is an institution full of fests and events. Every talent of students would never go to waste here as clubs are encouraging different art forms like dancing, music, drama, sports, and much more.

The college is the best and has the best infrastructure.
Placements: The college has a very good alumni network and the textile department is one of the foundation departments of the college when it was established. Students opt for research work in most cases and some opt for placements. We have many companies offering placements for almost every department.
Infrastructure: It has one of the best campuses in Mumbai. Our college has 3 canteens, 3 mess, 5 hostels, 2 faculty towers, one turf, one basketball court, and one multipurpose court. We have very advanced labs with all kinds of equipment. We have 2 to 3 auditoriums in our college.
Faculty: The college has the best faculty members and all the professors are doctorates in their teaching courses. Their way of teaching the course get us aquainted with real life application of the topics taught and industrial importance helps us develop research-oriented concepts.
Other: The college has the best crowd and almost every month, we have some fun activities arranged by the clubs. The college fest and sports events are very fun and enjoyable parts of college life.

It's for students who are really interested in chemical engineering and its related specialisations.
Placements: Almost all the students get placed from ICT Mumbai, but a lot of students don't attend placements because ICT is a research college. So, most of the students pursue higher studies. The placements for our branch are fine. I think the average salary package offered here is 4 LPA, and the highest salary package offered is around 8 LPA-9 LPA. Students also get placed in finance companies and get other managerial jobs where salary packages offered are high. Top recruiters here are Raymond, The Aravind, Bombay Dyeing, BASF, etc. Opportunities for internships are great in ICT, and you can do internships from the first year only. You can do internships in different domains like related to your field or core chemical or in management companies also. ICT Mumbai is the best chemical institute in India, and you will have ample opportunities in every field here.
Infrastructure: In Mumbai, you'll not see a lot of huge campuses, so compared to other campuses, ICT's campus is huge enough. Our campus is spread across 16 acres of land with 2 basketball courts, 3 badminton courts, 1 turf, Wi-Fi on the campus, good classrooms, amazing labs for every field and one of the biggest libraries in Mumbai. The food served here is good. Even though it is a hostel mess, they serve good food. Our college consists of 5 hostels, among which 2 for girls and 3 for boys. There are two canteens.
Faculty: Teachers here are very helpful, very highly qualified and have a lot of knowledge. They have amazing teaching quality, and many types of equipment are available for every field. The course curriculum is very relevant, and faculty members are very cooperative. There are a lot of industry visits in ICT.
Other: Fibres and textiles processing technology is an amazing branch and very much interesting with a lot of career opportunities. The need for clothes and textiles never vanishes, so this field has a great opportunity ahead. So, I chose this course. Our college organises a lot of events and has a lot of clubs. Our college provides a lot of scholarships and conducts a variety of curricular activities. ICT alumni association is amazing and one of the greatest alumni associations in India. Mukesh Ambani has studied in ICT.

Best chemical engineering and chemical technology college in India.
Placements: Almost all of them get placed and rest of them pursue higher studies. Reliance, basf, clarient, atul are some of companies that recruit. All type of chemical companies come for the placements. The highest placement was around 26,00,000 this year and around 80% of students got internship.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is beautiful. Beautiful spread across 16 acres with greenery and upto date required apparatus for labs, we have research labs in our college and importance is given to sports and extra curricular activities. The quality of food is very good and hygiene is a plus point.
Faculty: We have one of the most esteemed and knowledgeable professional teachers in our college who have phds and master and concept application is the main aim of our college. The curriculum gets updated based on the requirements of the industry and placement and new generation technologies.
Other: I choose this course because it's not mainstream and chemistry was my favorite subject. The crowd is competitive and it helps you to improve your performance. We have tests and fests in our college and there is perfect balance between both of them.

The college is good for placements and research.
Placements: Placements are good for B.Chem. The average salary package offered was about 4-8 LPA, and the highest salary package offered was 18 LPA. Pursuing chemical engineering is good, but if you had to do B.Tech, then polymer and surface coating and Food PharmaTech are very good branches. The average salary package offered to them was 4-6 LPA, and the highest salary package offered for food pharma tech was 8-9 LPA. For polymer and surface coating, the package goes up to 12 LPA. The syllabus for these branches is very easy, but the dyes department has less hope for placements. The textile branch is better. The highest salary package offered by a textile company was 8 LPA, the average salary package was 3-5 LPA, and the lowest package was 3 LPA. One of the students from our department got placed with a salary package of 11 LPA in a finance company. Another one got placed with a package of 25 LPA in Germany. Students of dyes branch get average placements compared to the polymer surface, but it is almost similar to the textile branch. Overall, I can suggest that if you are in the textile and dyes department, then it is very difficult to get placements. So, it’s good if you don’t go to these two departments. I made a mistake by choosing a textile course.
Infrastructure: The Wi-Fi facility in our college is not good. It is limited to only 34 MB per user per day. To access it through laptops, you have to register for 7GB data through IPC. Labs are well-equipped and have all the facilities. The sports ground is good, and you will get all the required equipment to play. The library is amazing and has all the books for students to study. One thing you will notice when you come to college is that there are less classrooms than labs.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are very helpful, well qualified and have good knowledge regarding the subject. They teach us by showing PPTs on the projector. In the 1st year, the students of all the departments study the same subjects throughout the year. It is very easy to get an internship related to your department. Most of the students do internships in 2nd year. In the 3rd year, you need to do an industrial internship. Overall, I want to say that the faculty members are very good, and you will love to learn new concepts.
Other: In ICT, you will enjoy more than any other college because our college conducts Asia's biggest chemfest named Vortex and many other big events like Manzer, Sorts Saga, Yuvam, etc. The campus is surrounded by trees like mango, coconut, etc. In our college, all extracurricular activities like dance, drama, etc., are conducted, and it is not necessary to participate in any sports. Scholarships like Maha DBT, Asian Paints and Gunvati Faculty scholarships are provided, and other scholarships are also provided by the respective branches. Pharma students can get a scholarship of up to Rs. 50,000, but the students of other branches don’t get much due to the limitation provided by the college. Students applying for Asian Paints scholarship need to have at least 6.5 CGPA.

Our college offers very good courses and excellent facilities.
Placements: Placements for the textile branch are not that great. Only three companies visited for our branch during out placements. Overall, the placements for all the branches were good. The average salary was around 3.5-4 LPA, but I wish the placements would be much better. I wish more companies come to the college to offer placements and provide better options for the students.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is excellent with all kinds of facilities. Wi-Fi is provided all over the campus. Labs are well-equipped. Sports facilities like carrom, table tennis, badminton, etc., are available in the college. Canteens are good, and each has a different menu. The campus is clean with a lot of greenery around.
Faculty: The course curriculum and faculty members are good. The curriculum should have some changes for the branch to be a little flexible. The professors are helpful and knowledgeable. We got industrial exposure. Industrial training was a part of the curriculum.
Other: All the events organised in our college are amazing. It involves the development of students and provides a lot of opportunities.

Shiksha college predictor is completely based upon the trend of previous year cutoffs of each college. If you are getting ICT Mumbai then there are 75-25% chances, that you will get this college. But, as I said previous year cutoffs so there cutoff may vary time to time.
