If you want you can join the college.
Placements: Our batch has 92 students in total. There are three reservation quotas: 1) MHT-CET result-based, 2) JEE-based 15%, 3) NRI quota. The max package for my branch is 87 LPA, and the average package is about 12–13 LPA for production engineers. More than 79% of students get internships.
Infrastructure: This college is known all over India for its infrastructure and placements, so infrastructure is also too good. Full campus has Wi-Fi connection. Classrooms are also good. Hostel is ok, but bathroom and toilet are a little bit disappointing to me. It is not that much disappointing.
Faculty: Our faculty is good, supportive, gives us all the information about how things are getting done, and they also encourage us to join as many clubs as possible in college, so we will not be good only in studies but in other things too, such as management, etc.
Other: I chose this college to gain exposure to life beyond studies. I wish I would join Spandan Club and help poor people. There are so many events and fests I cannot explain in words; you have to visit our college first. Also, scholarships are there; you can enroll in whichever you want, e.g., hostel scholarship, tuition fee scholarship, which may be private and also government.

Diploma is very good for technical knowledge but the salary you will get after completing the same will always be higher than Diploma. Production engineering in COEP is a sandwich branch but you are compulsory do two internships of 6 months in different companies for completing your degree.
