I am totally happy and satisfied with the college.

Placements: The department of dyestuff technology and speciality chemicals is the unique branch in ICT Mumbai, which you can't get in other colleges. This course gives you many opportunities in production and research in dyestuffs as well as internship offers in various institutes like TIFR, spectra dyes and chemicals Ltd., etc. This course has multiple placements in applied chemistry as well as in research and development fields. Many of my seniors are pursuing MS in abroad in various branches of chemistry, and they claim that their base for this course and thinking were made perfect after studying this course. By studying this course, students become able to solve real-life industrial problems and to find more efficient alternative processes in industrial chemistry to traditional processes. Due to the limited number of seats available for this course, every student gets personalized attention and guidance from faculty members in research and ample time for the use of the laboratory, which develops our practical skills.

Infrastructure: The entire campus and hostel are study-friendly. All the necessary facilities which are important for studies, like Wi-Fi, library and study rooms, make an impact on students to study well. The library, which is named after the Ex-Chancellor & FRS M. Sharma, has ample books and sections for an individual department, and each section has many books for every subject of each department. The campus is peaceful and eco-friendly. It is good for studies and gives you positive vibes. Facilities such as a library, mess, and canteens are at a walkable distance from the hostel. The hostel rooms are airy with proper sunlight and with the required space for every individual. Medical facilities are provided to hostelers. Wi-Fi, sports arena, and gymnasium are available in the hostel building. A basketball turf and a badminton court are available near the hostel. Sports competitions and activities such as counseling are provided for hostelers.

Faculty: All the teachers are helpful, well qualified and knowledgeable. They are always ready to solve our doubts and queries anytime. The teaching quality is excellent. Due to the presence of multiple subjects with expert faculty in it, you get proper technical and practical knowledge about your course. The ICT curriculum gives equal importance to both theory and practical knowledge. Hence, it becomes helpful in placements. Internships offered by campus and industry visits make students ready for industry. The difficulty of semester exams is high compared to others. But its study doesn't cause a burden or stress on you. Hence besides of high difficulty level, students are able to solve it with good results.

Other: I chose this course because of my particular interest in research and development. The fests I've attended, like Vortex and TedEX community sessions, are very helpful to improve our knowledge in chemistry and also in other fields of sciences. Many unique competitions and lecture series are conducted by renowned personalities in chemistry as well as in finance, politics, and literature that make your interests in other fields with study too. Events like Manzar and Euphoria give us a chance to our artistic qualities, and many clubs like literature club, music club, fine arts clubs, and entrepreneurship cell are also helpful for making our interest in other fields and help make our career.
