Review of Institute of Infrastructure Technology Research and Management.

Placements: In the previous year, around 35-40% of students got placed in our college. The average salary package offered ranges between 3 LPA - 4.5 LPA. Top recruiting IT companies were TCS, Wipro, Cognizant, etc. TCS was a mass recruiter. All electrical students got internships in companies like Torrent Power, etc.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is not good. There is only one 6-story building where all classrooms and offices are available. Wi-Fi is available, but it only provides 256 MB of data per day. The lab facilities are good and are equipped with all the latest technology machines and equipment. Our college has the best drone technology in Gujarat. Classrooms are air-conditioned but are not working for the last four years. Our college does not have a hostel.

Faculty: Teachers are very knowledgeable and helpful. Most of them are Ph.D. holders from IITs, NITs, IISc, etc. Their teaching quality is very good. Exams are not difficult to pass. The course curriculum is the same as IIT. The course curriculum also makes GATE preparation easy as it covers all the topics.

Other: Our college and hostel do not organise cultural activities, events, tech fests, etc.

In this college, infrastructure and placements are not good.

Placements: Placements percentage is not very good i.e around 40% of students are placed. The average salary package offered is 4 LPA. The top recruiting companies are TCS, Wipro, and Cognizant. Most of the students get internships during their course in companies like Torrent Power, etc.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of this college is not good. It has only one 6 storey building where library, administrative department, accounts section, students section, and dean's office are available. Wi-Fi is available in this college, but it provides only 256 MB data per day. Laboratories are spacious but equipments do not work properly. Classrooms provides air-conditioners, but they have not been turned on from last 4 years. They are not having its hostels, and there is no freedom in the hostel. The medical facilities are not available in this college.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is average. Semester exams are not difficult. The students will pass it easily even with average study. The competition is not very good in this college. Students will barely get some competitors in this college.

Other: The events and fests are not held in this college. Even freshers and farewell parties are not allowed on campus or hostel. Students will get feel and vibes of secondary school.

The infrastructure is great but could gave been good if campus life and fests are improved.

Placements: Around 50-60% of students are placed from my course who SAT for placements. The average package varies around 3-4 LPA. IT companies like Wipro, TCS, Cognizant and Torrent Power, and a few core companies come for recruiting. The roles offered were graduate engineer trainee, project engineer trainee, quality engineer trainee.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is good. The hostel for 1st-year students and girls is located 1 km nearby the college. This hostel is so good with regular cleaning. Sometimes there will be issues of water availability. But baring this, the hostel is good. The hostel for others (2nd year onwards) is located near Hathijan, around 30 minutes travelling by the bus provided by the college. Since this is located on the outskirts of the city, the environment is peaceful. No Wi-Fi is available. The quality of the food in the mess is average.

Faculty: The teachers are well qualified. Only some professors from each branch are bad at teaching. Some of them are highly knowledgeable and have good experience. The curriculum is a bit outdated with some courses. There are only a few courses on trending topics. The semester exams in this college are a bit challenging. The pass percentage is high because of relative grading.

Other: I have chosen this course because of my interest in the electrical field. The best thing about this is, I have met an awesome professors who shared so many new things. The course can be improved by involving the trending topics in the curriculum and more projects about them. The college is very bad at organizing events, it does not organize events, I have seen very few events in my 3 years of B.Tech here.

It is a nice college, and it has a really amazing infrastructure.

Placements: Placements are a kind of mediocre here. Not many companies have visited here for placements in terms of core electrical domains. Students have reached up to interview stage without an offer letter. Our institute should have a course on placements in the final year, which is severely lacking here.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is nice as it has libraries, mess, hostel as well as an open-air theatre. The reading room is the students' favourite place. Every student likes to hang out when they are free or have breaks between lectures. There are few clubs such as sports club, tech club, photography club and movie club.

Faculty: Electrical engineering faculty members are diverse, and few of them are really talented. All faculty members are from IITs and NITs. Engineering drawing, microprocessor and microcontroller, facts, power systems, power electronics, machine design and electrical infrastructure are some of the subjects we studied in these four years of the course.

Review of IITRAM - Institute of Infrastructure Technology Research and Management.

Placements: The placements in IITRAM are average, and around 80-85% of students get placed. Students get an opportunity to do an internship in different companies like L&T, Torrent Power, BHEL, and even in IIT Gandhinagar. However, instead of taking up a job, a lot of students opt for M.Tech or other higher education like MBA.

Infrastructure: The hostel fee is 6,000 per semester and 20,000 per semester for mess food. Four meals are provided, and the food quality is good. The mess menu changes every month so that students don't get bored. In the hostel, all the basic facilities are provided, like a table, chair, cupboard, bed, mattress and a pillow. However, you can take a room also for rent in the nearby locality.

Faculty: The faculty members are young and dynamic, being around 35-40 years old. They are from reputed institutes, and all of them are PhD holders and post-doctorates. The average number of classes in a semester is around 40 lectures per subject, and students also get to do industry-oriented projects during semester course work.

I am satisfied with the education provided by the college.

Placements: About 85% of students in our course got placed. The highest salary offered ranges between 5-6 LPA, and the lowest salary offered was 2.5 LPA. The average salary offered was 3 LPA. Top recruiting companies like GSFC, Torrent Power, and TBEA visited our campus for placements. Top roles like executive trainee are offered to three students. The highest salary package offered in our course was 4.5 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 2.5 LPA. The average salary package offered was 2.7 LPA. Almost 90% of students got an internship in companies like Wanakbori Thermal Power Station and ISSCO.

Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure available in our course were decent and good for studies. Labs were very good for a newly designed institute. Wi-Fi facility is available. The library fulfils the requirements of every student. Hostel facilities were good. The hostel is 8-10 km away from college, but the transport facility is available for students. Quality of the food served in the mess was good. Canteen is not available on the campus. Medical facilities are good. Sports and games facility is good for indoor games as the college does not provide a playground for outdoor games.

Faculty: Teachers in our college were helpful, qualified, knowledgeable and experienced. Teaching quality was good. They were approachable. The course curriculum was very much relevant. Siemens company had provided lab setup for the different courses so that students could learn a new course and additional syllabus in their respective course.

Other: I have chosen this course because I find this course interesting. The best thing about this course is that you got to learn different software and techniques to prepare for projects. The college should provide highly knowledgeable lab assistants. The college is new as it was started in 2013 so only one cultural fest was organised in the year 2016, and it was very successful. For extracurricular activities, different clubs were formed like art, sports, movie, etc.

Absolutely satisfied by the faculty, college office department, canteen etc.

Placements: As my batch was the first batch of the institute and the placements were beyond our expectations. 80 to 85 percent students were placed in electrical engineering. The highest salary offered was 4 to 5 Lacs per annum and average was 3 Lacs per annum. Different roles were offered to students as some were in executives and management and others were in junior engineer.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is not huge but it has required amount of space for all the facilities like lab, classroom, library etc. It is six storey building. Furniture used in classroom and labs are very good. Quality of food in canteen is one of the best in Ahmedabad. Hostel rooms were bigger in area. I personally didn't found any difficulty in the hostel and college.

Faculty: Faculty were very helpful and knowledgeable. They were qualified from many named Universities and institutes in India or outside India. Student to faculty ration was 7:1. We did get industry exposure. After completion of every year students were advised to do the internship in companies.

Other: Students were willing to participate in the fest in different colleges. Our college has also organized the fest in year 2015.

Great value for money and good faculty.

Placements: This college has started recently 5 years ago. The placement is not much as expected. Till it is around 80 percent students are placed. And as it contains the core branches so overall packages are also low. So will say if anyone is coming here for placement or job perspective don't come.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure wise it is wealthy. But the area is small, So will prefer to have more space. There are many labs. Workshop area is reserved for specific workshops. Seminar rooms are available on every floor. There is a canteen here.

Faculty: The faculty's knowledge here is more than enough for a student to cover up the syllabus. They are helpful and cooperative. Curriculum is of IITs. Teaching methods of teachers are great.

Other: There are various clubs such as 1. Ski club for sports 2. NEST club for creativity 3. INK club for self-development 4. Drama club They organize events respectively. They are scope for scholarship and college help throughout it.

Is IITRAM good for electrical engineering placements?

Of course, IITRAM is a good college for placements. But, there are many colleges which have good placement record in EE, like Jaypee, Galgotia university, LPU, Anand International College Of Engineering College etc.
