The International Institute of Information Technology - Hyderabad (IIIT-H) residential institute, meaning all admitted students must reside on campus. The institute has separate hostels for boys and girls. There are a total of five on-campus hostel facilities, of which three are dedicated to boys and two are allocated to girls. Goimg as per the last three year trends, IIIT Hyderabad is expected to conduct BTech counselling based on JEE Main scores upto Round 4 or 5. The two BTech specialisations offered by IIITH through JEE Main are B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering and B.Tech. in Electronics and Communication Engineering. The cutoff for other categories including ST AI and PWD AI was also 53. Notably, the most lenient course to get admission to IIIT Hyderabad through UGEE was B.Tech. + M.S. (by Research) in Electronics and Communication Engineering.

The admission procedure at IIIT Hyderabad is completely online and entrance-based for BTech. Admission to BTech at IIIT Hyderabad is done on the basis of a valid score in one among JEE Main/ UGEE/ Olympiad (KVPY) exams. Candidates seeking admission via JEE Main are required to appear for the exam and have a valid score before IIIT Hyderabad application. IIIT Hyderabad offers two BTech courses at the UG level. Candidates seeking admission to the same must have a valid score in any of UGEE,  JEE Main, Olympiad, Direct Admissions for Students Abroad (DASA) and Special Channel of Admission (SPEC) and Lateral Entry Entrance Exam (LEEE) exams.  

IIIT Hyderabad Cutoff 2024 was concluded for admission on the basis of JEE Main scores. The cutoff was out for B.Tech in CSE and BTech in ECE. The cutoff was released for different categories under the General All India quota.
