It is a good place to learn and excel in academics but industry exposure is less.

Placements: We don't have any placements here. There is no placement cell and no opportunity for placements. Kashmir doesn't have any corporate sector there, so it's hard to find placements. Still, an initiative of creating a placement cell started in 2015 and it brought some companies but nobody took the job.

Infrastructure: Good infrastructure. It is a 10 year old university and has maximum facilities as compared to any other state-owned university. It is a NAAC B+ Accredited university. NO Wi-Fi. Labs are well-equipped, classroom, medical facilities are good enough. Canteen food is very hygienic.

Faculty: Faculty is very helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. Teaching quality is very good. Interactive teaching is applied. We don't have much industry exposure but concepts taught by the teachers are engraved in our minds.

Other: There are some workshops, not much events, beautiful surroundings, state given scholarships and average extracurricular activities.

I am satisfied because of my friends.

Placements: In this college, some students were preparing for the GATE. Some of the students were placed as assistant professors for the same university and in the same faculty members. But some students were placed somewhere in good companies.

Infrastructure: There was working Jio Wi-Fi for everyone and also broadband for departments. Laboratories were good in structure, but there was a lack of instruments. Classrooms were not good earlier but now they were good. Libary was well maintained. There was good social life and books were also available. Sports were well-preferred here and recently our football team had won inter-university football tournament Jammu.

Faculty: Faculty members were very good but there was a lack of teachers. HOD was the best in this university. HOD was IIT pass out. He also teaches some subjects like network analysis, control systems. Our faculty members were known as the best in all the departments.

Other: I love going there, relaxed with friends, the teaching process was best but without one teacher. So overall I would rate 9 out of 10 to this university. The canteen rate was high. Boys in the hostel had to travel a large distance to come to university. VC of this university was best.
