It is the best university in terms of education but lacks in providing placement opportunities.
Placements: Our batch of B.Tech electrical engineering was the first batch in the university. Though the course was new, the university managed to provide us better education, and almost all the equipment was available for experimental purposes. We were sent to NIT Srinagar for those particals, which were not available in our institution. As far as the placements are concerned, it was almost 0%, that is why I rate it a single star.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure are good and emerging at a fast rate. Though the university is new, the rate of development and infrastructure is high. The whole university is covered with high-speed Wi-Fi internet. A separate browsing center was set up for the students. The facilities available in the hostel were great. The hostel for girls is inside the university premises, and the boys' hostel is about 500m away from the university. Medical facilities and an ambulance are available 24x7. There is a decent canteen inside the university premises which provides food and other items at great discount.
Faculty: The university has good faculty members. They taught us in a better way and were greatly helpful. The quality of teaching was excellent, especially Dr. Shahkar Nehvi. He was a great caring teacher for us. Other faculty members were also good and helpful at any time.
Other: I was a Diploma engineering student and was eager to do B.Tech, but due to family issues, I was not able to move outside the state for further studies. Here, the other universities were not giving admissions for lateral entries, but this university provided me an opportunity to achieve my goal. I would like to say one thing that our university needs to improve in terms of placements. Though the placement cell is set up there, it is not active. Scholarships are available for those students who took admissions from the beginning of the course, and this opportunity was not given to lateral entry students. I felt greatly painful when I applied for the scholarship and got rejected. Overall, the university was a great place to learn new things and gain knowledge.

Overall, I am satisfied with everything in our college.
Placements: Companies like Byju's, etc., visited our college for our placements, and many students got internships and worked for the companies sincerely. I am satisfied with our college placements. If you have good knowledge and good points in your academics, then you will surely get placed if companies visit here.
Infrastructure: Labs are pretty much well-developed for our course, and we enjoy doing practicals. The hostel is different for different year students, and they are well-developed. The mess is good overall. Overall, I am satisfied with everything in our college.
Faculty: Faculty members are very good and have a great understanding. They have a great bond with students and help every student. They are pretty well-qualified and have great experience in teaching and help students. Overall, I am satisfied.

The University is Mediocre at this point of time but the future looks bright.
Placements: The placement drive was held in the University when I was in my last semester and it was fortunate for me that I was among the 20 selected candidates but due to some unforseen circumstances we could't join on date and university was aware why could't they. But after that University took no responsibility to hold on the job by being in touch with them. This was a bad impact.
Infrastructure: Wi-fi is not easily available there and is not accessible to everyone. Classrooms are getting better day by day. Medical facilities are not upto the mark. Sports and games are treated as good as possible but the higher authority linked with sports are not legible.
Faculty: The teachers were awesome. Very much helpful but some teachers were not highly qualified and the students were not satisfied with them. But the student to faculty raito was not good it was I think 1 teacher for 40-50 students. No I didn't get any industry exposure.

It is a good place to learn and excel in academics but industry exposure is less.
Placements: We don't have any placements here. There is no placement cell and no opportunity for placements. Kashmir doesn't have any corporate sector there, so it's hard to find placements. Still, an initiative of creating a placement cell started in 2015 and it brought some companies but nobody took the job.
Infrastructure: Good infrastructure. It is a 10 year old university and has maximum facilities as compared to any other state-owned university. It is a NAAC B+ Accredited university. NO Wi-Fi. Labs are well-equipped, classroom, medical facilities are good enough. Canteen food is very hygienic.
Faculty: Faculty is very helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. Teaching quality is very good. Interactive teaching is applied. We don't have much industry exposure but concepts taught by the teachers are engraved in our minds.
Other: There are some workshops, not much events, beautiful surroundings, state given scholarships and average extracurricular activities.

I am satisfied because of my friends.
Placements: In this college, some students were preparing for the GATE. Some of the students were placed as assistant professors for the same university and in the same faculty members. But some students were placed somewhere in good companies.
Infrastructure: There was working Jio Wi-Fi for everyone and also broadband for departments. Laboratories were good in structure, but there was a lack of instruments. Classrooms were not good earlier but now they were good. Libary was well maintained. There was good social life and books were also available. Sports were well-preferred here and recently our football team had won inter-university football tournament Jammu.
Faculty: Faculty members were very good but there was a lack of teachers. HOD was the best in this university. HOD was IIT pass out. He also teaches some subjects like network analysis, control systems. Our faculty members were known as the best in all the departments.
Other: I love going there, relaxed with friends, the teaching process was best but without one teacher. So overall I would rate 9 out of 10 to this university. The canteen rate was high. Boys in the hostel had to travel a large distance to come to university. VC of this university was best.
