JLU insiders - A great college.
Placements: The average package of the past 3 years is around 3-4 LPA. The percentage of students placed cannot be said as they set criteria such as minimum attendance and CGPA in order to be eligible to sit in the placement interview. There aren't any internship opportunities. Also, the course and teaching structure from this academic year has changed entirely (in a great way) so previous placement records don't play much of a role.
Infrastructure: Every class has projectors. The college has Wi-Fi facilities available everywhere. JIO sim doesn't work here; there's no signal for Jio, only Airtel connectivity. Our robotics lab is in a tie-up with a Singapore university, so yes, it's great. I am a day scholar, so I don't know about the hostel, but I have heard the mess is great. Medical facilities are available. Sports available are box cricket, basketball, football, and volleyball.
Faculty: The subjects in the 2nd semester are probability statistics, math, introduction to robotics, introduction to computing (Python coding), design thinking, and psychology for engineers. The grading system is divided into 50-20-30. 50% is continuous assessment, i.e., a grade on class activities and assignments. 20% is a grade on the mid-sem, which is a written test; it just serves as a grade booster. 30% is the final exam, which is a jury and a coding test. The jury is a viva system that goes on for about a minimum of 1 hour per student so as to check the student's true understanding of the subject instead of the old-fashioned written test.
Other: The best things about the course is that it isn't the traditional old-fashioned way and actually teaches coding and stuff which would be required in the industry. There are many clubs available for students to join, like the photography club, dance club, literacy club, etc. The crowd isn't much of a great thing at JLU.

The review of Jagran Lakecity University SOET.
Placements: Placements in JLU SOET are very good. According to the capabilities, eligible students get placed on the campus placements. You can check about the placements on their facebook page. One of my classmates got a summer internship in Google Summer of Code.
Infrastructure: The whole campus is enabled with the Wi-Fi facility to students. Labs are well-furnished, and the whole block is given to labs. If you are choosing to take engineering, then you have to work very hard and don't worry, you will get time on weekends to play games. If you are staying at hostel, you will get time in the evening to play games.
Faculty: Faculty members in JLU SOET are very down to earth and supportive. The students can get for any help from faculty members. We have individual groups on Whatsapp and other social media platforms so that we get help at any time. Faculty members are very friendly, and at some point, they will be like our family.

Placements: In JLU, you get 100% placement promise. The structure of studies is so great that you don't have to take any type of coaching or tuition. In JLU, they will prepare you as per the market or company demand and so on. If you have maintained your academics result above 7.0 CGPA, your placement is confirmed.
Infrastructure: Jagran Lakecity University is the best private university in Madhya Pradesh. World class infrastructure. Well-maintained classrooms, well-equipped labs. All the machines are on the latest working technology. Fully-equipped auditoriums. A separate field for almost every game like football, cricket, volleyball, and what not.
Faculty: The faculty of JLU believes in a good interaction between the teachers and the students. They conduct a lot of events and programmes just for the better interaction of the students and the teachers. The course curriculum of JLU is updated as per the market requirements. Here, you will learn each and every thing related to your course which you can practically apply in your life. JLU believes in the all-round development of the students.
Other: JLU provides each and every study material online. Besides that, you can issue books of any kind from the library, and you can issue and update your period of issued books. All the details and all other notifications and other updates are there on the JLU app. You will get a unique identification number and this number is applicable to you throughout your study period and after that too.

Review of Jagran Lakecity University.
Placements: The placement officer in our college is good. Many people got placements from this university. Many people got placed in good companies with a great salary package. They are also upgrading their self. They are providing more opportunities to do better for students.
Infrastructure: They provide much better facilities in comparison to other colleges. It is a Wi-Fi enabled campus. Computer labs are also good. Classrooms are also well maintained and managed. There is just a lack of medical facility, but they provide normal medicines. There is a sports room where we can play many indoor games.
Faculty: Faculty members in our college are very good. All are well qualified, and they all are helpful. We can share any problem with them. The course curriculum is also good. We don't face any problem to do those things. Teachers use books and PPTs to teach students. We are also comfortable with that.

Not actually a great infrastructure, but a vibrant campus life with an industry-relevant curriculum.
Placements: Hi, I am from the 2024-2028 batch of B.Tech in CSE (AI) at Jagran Lakecity University, Bhopal. Around 70% of the students in my course got placed. The highest package is 10 LPA, the lowest is 2.2 LPA, and the average is 5.5 LPA. Top recruiters include Infosys, TCS, Accenture, and Deloitte. Around 70% of the students secured internships at IBM, HCL, and Microsoft. Top roles offered are software developer, AI/ML engineer, and data analyst.
Infrastructure: The university provides a pretty okay infrastructure. The CSE/AI department has labs, low-speed Wi-Fi, and non-AC classrooms with projectors. The library is in good condition, and it is well stocked with fresh books. Hostel facilities are comfortable. The mess is hygienic and offers a variety of foods, while the canteen serves fast food and snacks. The university provides 24/7 medical services. For sports lovers, JLU has football, basketball, volleyball, badminton, and cricket, along with a gym facility. The university also organizes cultural events, fests, etc.
Faculty: The teachers are quite friendly and helpful, and they are well qualified and knowledgeable. Also, the quality of teaching is not up to the mark, as most of the teachers are visiting faculty. The curriculum is industry-based, covering AI. This university also organizes hackathons, guest lectures to help students gain real-world experience. Semester exams are moderately difficult, they focus more on practical rather than theoretical exams. The pass percentage is around 75-80%. Students who attend regular classes and practicals can easily score good marks.
Other: I chose AI because I have a deep interest in the field, as I love exploring artificial intelligence. Things I would wish to be better about my course are more industry collaborations, better internship opportunities, and more practical.
