In addition to the regular BTech, Jain College of Engineering also offers a BTech Lateral Entry programme for diploma/BSc graduates. The duration of this course is three years. With this option, students are admitted directly to the third semester (second year) of the BTech programme at the Faculty of Engineering and Technology under Jain (Deemed-to-be) University.
Admission to the courses offered by Jain University is entrance-based. For Jain University BTech admissions, aspirants need to qualify in at least one of the accepted entrance exams, including JET, Uni-GAUGE, JEE and COMEDK. Jain University BTech admission dates are scheduled to begin around the month of February. However, Jain University BTech deadline is usually scheduled before the beginning of April every year.
