JNTUK Kakinada MTech is a two-year postgraduate degree programme divided into four semesters and offered full-time. The basic eligibility criteria required by the university to get admission to MTech at JNTUK Kakinada and its affiliated colleges is candidates must achieve a minimum of 50% aggregate BTech degrees or equivalent. Overall the college, lab, faculty, infrastructure, and campus are very good.

Placements: College has very decent placements. Average package is 10 LPA, and this year 3 girls from the final year have cracked Amazon offline. More companies like TCS, Cognizant, Wipro, Infosys, and many more are hiring. The placement percentage is 70%.

Infrastructure: Both the boys' and girls' hostels are very neat and super. The girls' hostel will be in the college itself, and the boys' hostel will be outside the college. The food in the hostel is very decent and better compared to other snacks. Bathrooms are attached and non-attached according to price. Every department has specialized labs and good infrastructure with good technicians.

Faculty: I am actually enrolled in AIML course, which is a recent course but it has a qualified staff to teach all the new technology. The curriculum is very simple yet helpful to students.

Placements: I am from the Computer Science and Technology branch, 2026 passing-out batch. In our course, around 60 percent of students get placed in good companies. The highest package offered in our college is 22 LPA this year, and the average package is 4 LPA. The top recruiting companies in our course are Wipro, Accenture, Tech Mahindra, Deloitte, TCS, Global Logic, and Cognizant. Some students are offered internships, and roles offered in our course are analyst, and software developer.

Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure available in our department and college are good. Our college has good facilities like Wi-Fi, labs for every department, good classrooms, and a big library. The quality of food available in the mess and canteen is excellent. The college provides free medical facilities and sports grounds for every sport. The college provides hostel facilities for boys and girls with all types of facilities.

Faculty: The teaching quality in our college is good. Teachers mostly stick to the textbooks. Our course is curriculum-relevant, and it makes the students industry-ready. The semester exams in our college are easy; everyone gets passed if they study before the exams. Our college has around a 90% pass percentage. Teachers in our college are helpful in academics. Our teachers are well-qualified in their subjects and knowledgeable.

Companies give guaranteed placements to some students every year based on their performance in placement exams. Most of the recruiters prefer our department students for hiring.

Infrastructure: Ramachandra College of Engineering supports bachelor's and master's of technology in various courses. Class timings would be different from one department to another to avoid over-rushing during bell ringing. Security guards and CCTV cameras are fixed at all the blocks and in every classroom.

Faculty: Various important concepts like electronics designing and weaving were explained by the teachers clearly. Semester grades graphically increase and decrease from semester to semester. Assignment and record submission should be submitted within the given period because internal scores are based on that.

To get a seat in JNTU, it all depends on your category of caste. If you are a general category student, then you need to get a rank below 3000 to get in Computer Science engineering, and if you want to just join the college irrespective of course, then your rank should be between 3k to 10k.
