JECRC University is accepting applications for the BTech programmes. Admissions to all courses including BTech are in progress for the year 2025. 

JECRC University selects candidates for admission to BTech programme based on entrance exam scores. The university prefers aspirants with a valid JEE Main score for admission. Candidates with a CUET-UG score can also apply for BTech. Besides, candidates must also fulfil the eligibility requirements to get a seat in the BTech course of JECRC University. Once the selection process is over, aspirants can confirm their seat by paying the course fee.

JECRC University offers BTech for four-years at the UG level. The programme is spread across eight semesters. The university offers BTech to candidates who have completed Class 12 in relevant subjects. Below are some of the BTech specialisations offered at JECRC University:

Aspirants who have passed Class 12 with a minimum of 60% aggregate in all subjects with pass in English, Physics and Mathematics and one subject out of Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology and Technical vocational subject are eligible to apply for JECRC University BTech programme. Candidates must hold the documents proving their eligibility for verification at the time of admission.

The latest JECRC University BTech placement report has not been released. However, according to the overall report, over 2,230 offers were issued during 2025 placements. The topmost and average packages given to students in the placement drive 2025 were INR 33 LPA and INR 6 LPA, respectively. A total of 140 companies visited the campus as well. Additionally, more than 800 students were placed with a salary package of more than INR 7 LPA. The topmost package was provided by Amazon.

JECRC University has not released the placement percentage on its offical website. In 2026 placement session, 80 companies visited the campus and presented 1030 offers to the overall Class of 2026 so far.  The overall highest package offered during JECRC University placements 2026 stood at INR 33 LPA, whereas the average package offered to the batch 2026 stood at INR 6.67 LPA. 

Students can get admission to courses such as BA (Hons), BCom, BCA, MCA, etc. without any entrance exam scores. Such aspirants are shortlisted based on their merit in the last qualifying exam. 

JECRC University admission is both merit and entrance-based. The university offers BTech, BBA, BSc (Hons), etc. at the UG level. The duration of UG courses range from three to five years. Candidates who have passed Class 12 are eligible to apply for UG courses. The university offers MTech, MBA, MSc (Hons), etc. at the PG level. The duration of PG courses is two years. Candidates who have passed graduation are eligible to apply for PG courses. The mode of application is online for all courses.

Yes, JECRC University is a recognised university. It was established as a private institute and has since been recognised, accredited and approved by national bodies such as the UGC, NAAC, NBA, AICTE, etc. with rankings from well-known ranking bodies such as NIRF 2025.

Given all this information one can only call JECRC University to be a recognised university.

JECRC University accepts multiple national-level entrance exams, such as CUET-UG, CUET-PG, JEE Main, CAT, MAT, XAT, etc., for admission to specific programmes. JECRC University also offers admission to courses based on the merit of the applicants in the last qualifying exam. The university considers CUET-UG for most of the UG courses, such as BTech, BBA, BCA, BCom, BDes, etc. Aspirants also need to pass a personal interview round for admission to a few courses.
