In this regard, the UGC, New Delhi has issued certain guidelines vide reference cited wherein clearly stipulated to refund the entire fee paid by the students who wish to cancel their admissions within time bound Le, with a charging of 1,000/- processing fee Irrespective of regular/SFC courses.

Kakatiya University has a total intake of 920 seats for all streams of BTech that are offered at the Warangal campus of the university. These seats are allotted through TM EAPCET counselling. Only the students who have appeared for the TS EAPCET entrance exam are eligible to apply for this counselling. During the counselling, the candidates have to place Kakatiya University BTech at the top of their college preference list. If the candidate has cleared the required cut-off, a seat will be allotted to them, subject to the fulfilment of other eligibility criteria.

The BTech graduates of Kakatiya University are offered various job opportunities during the placement drive of the university. Some of the recruiters of the university over the past few years are Tata Motors, Manthan Systems, DONE By NONE, Corevision and BricMor Infra Projects Pvt Ltd. For Kakatiya University BTech admission, candidates have to appear for the TS EAPCET entrance exam.  The registration fee payable by the engineering aspirants is INR 500 for SC/ST & PWD, and INR 900 for others. For TS EAPCET counselling, the registration fee is INR 600 for SC/ST & PWD, and INR 1200 for others. Both the fees can be paid via online payment modes like debit cards, credit cards and netbanking.
