BSc at KGMU is a full-time programme offered in two specializations: BSc in Nursing and BSc in Radiotherapy. The course duartion is four years. KGMU BSc admission is merit-based. The University accepts the merit secured in Class 12 exams as well as UP CNET scorecard for BSc Nursing.

Every year, the cut off marks for the KGMU NEET exam are affected due to the following factors:
- The difficulty level of the exam. In case the question paper is easy then the NEET cut offs are expected to go high and vice-versa.
- Total number of applications received. If the total applications received are less then the cut off is expected to be relaxed.

KGMU BSc Admission Dates 2025
KGMU BSc admission dates 2025 is most likely to be scheduled around Class 12 results. The selection criteria for the BSc programme is based on the merit obtained in the last qualifying exam. CBSE Class 12 results 2025 were out in the month of May. Similarly, UP Board Class 12 results 2025 were announced in the month of April.

The NEET SS application fee is INR 3,500. The fee is same for candidates belonging to each category. This is the application fee for each group. Candidates seeking admission to the BSc programme offered at King George's Medical University are required to meet the minimum KGMU BSc eligibility criteria. To get admission into KGMU throught UP NEET exam, student must target the rank as per the cutoff list. As per the cutoff, the closing rank for General Home State category stood at 3484. Among the OBC HS category the last round closing rank was 3665. For SC Home State, ST Home State and PWD Home State category candidates also, the cutoff ranks were lenient than 3000. Therefore, it is possible to get admission into KGMU through UP NEET rank of 3000.
