BSc at KGMU is a full-time programme offered in two specializations: BSc in Nursing and BSc in Radiotherapy. The course duartion is four years. KGMU BSc admission is merit-based. The University accepts the merit secured in Class 12 exams as well as UP CNET scorecard for BSc Nursing.
Candidates seeking admission to KGMU College of Nursing must meet the minimum eligibility criteria in passing Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/ Biotechnology and, English with a minimum of 50% aggregate (40% aggregate for reserved category candidates) from a recognised Board.

NBE states, "Applications forms once submitted cannot be withdrawn. Fee shall neither be carried forward to a future date nor refunded under any circumstances. Application once submitted cannot be withdrawn. Any claim for refund, adjustment or carrying forward of Application fee will not be entertained. Examination fees in respect of candidates who are absent or have been declared ineligible due to any reason will be forfeited." As compared to last year, the fee has been reduced. Last year, the fee amount was INR 4,250 for each group.
NEET PG 2025 application form was released on April 17, 2025. Deadline to submit NEET PG 2025 application form was May 7, 2025. Application form reopened to choose exam city from June 13 to June 17, 2025. Exam was held on August 3, 2025 in computer-based mode.

KGMU BSc admission dates 2025 is most likely to be scheduled around Class 12 results. The selection criteria for the BSc programme is based on the merit obtained in the last qualifying exam. CBSE Class 12 results 2025 were out in the month of May. Similarly, UP Board Class 12 results 2025 were announced in the month of April.
