An honest review of my college facilities and placements.
Placements: The placement statistics are good. Everyone gets a decent placement depending on how much the student has worked in the whole programme. Overall the college helps with future growth and overall development. The average package can be estimated to be about 5 LPA-6 LPA.
Infrastructure: The college provides us with facilities like hostels with both AC and non-AC rooms, Wi-Fi, library and canteens on campus. The hostels are well furnished and are made with newer architecture. The facilities are decent and we can get most of the stuff we need.
Faculty: Our semester exams are quite difficult which is not unnecessarily bad. It helps us develop a modern and advanced problem-solving approach. Also our curriculum has changed a lot in the last 2 years which has given us an edge over all the other colleges nearby.
Other: I chose this course and college because I was always interested in Computer Science and this was the best college I could get for my rank. There is only one cultural fest in the whole academic year so we don't get much time to rewind but still that one fest is quite decent.

So if you are a middle-class student looking for a college in Delhi NCR, this is a good option.
Placements: 60–70% of batch students are placed, with a major percentage of 3–26 LPA jobs. Around 5200 students got placements above 12 LPA. Top recruiting companies include Capgemini, Infosys, TCS, and JP Morgan. For internships, students have to try on their own.
Infrastructure: So the college hostels are good for freshers because the hostels made for freshers. They have good food, Wi-Fi, and many facilities. However, if we talk about other hostels apart from freshers’, they are not that good.
Faculty: The best part of the college is the academics and faculty, which are very good, so you never face any disturbance. The curriculum and exams are also good. But in every semester, there are three exams: one mid-semester exam with CA, and the third one is the final exam. So in each semester, you have to give multiple exams, which is the low point of the college.
Other: According to me, the college hostel and courses are only a little bit good. I think students should not consider this as an important priority compared to placements and other important things.

KIET college review by rookie.
Placements: The percentage of placement is between 80–90 percent, but average placement is very low. Overall, decent placement compared to the competition of this college. After the college became autonomous, placements are falling. I have seen a lot of high off-campus placements from this college.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is actually good. Labs are modern. Wi-Fi is good when on less traffic. Decently maintained infrastructure. Sports facilities are not good as it is a small campus. Library is decent. Hostel mess food is pretty good. Campus is fully air-conditioned.
Faculty: Faculty and curriculum are above average and somewhat up to date. But still, there is a big gap between industry standards needed. If you need a good placement from this college, you have to work from the start on your own. Many hackathons are organized in the college, which will give you good exposure.
Other: As my batch is the last batch which will receive AKTU degree, I don’t have any idea what is the value of KIET’s own degree to companies, as the college has become fully autonomous.

A genuine review of the KIET group of Institutions from a second-year CS student.
Placements: About 95% of students get placed in various companies like Infosys (software intern roles), TCS (digital marketing roles), Wipro (data analyst), Cognizant, HCL, Zomato, and other service-based companies. About 500 students are mass recruited in Infosys each year. The highest package offered is 87 LPA by Paladin Bladesmith, which is impressive, but it is an exception. Most students get placed with packages around 3–5 LPA.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good, but not the best. Although a new Mac lab has been built this year, other labs are still not good and feel outdated. The infrastructure of the college is quite good, but it needs some improvement, especially in the mechanical labs. Some labs are good, like the 3D printing lab and the CNC lab. There are two libraries in the college, one of which is very big and has a vast collection of books and resources. Most canteens are okay but need some improvement in seating and crowd management.
Faculty: The teaching is quite good and includes practical knowledge. However, I do not like the programming faculty because of their lack of knowledge and school-like behavior. Apart from this, the exams go smoothly. The syllabus is good, but it does not make students fully industry-ready. They need to improve their skills on their own.
Other: I choose KIET because my school teachers suggest it, and it is near my house, which is the main reason I join this college. I hope the college adds more practical-based learning to increase opportunities. The campus is overcrowded with many students, and its size feels small compared to the crowd. They should also work on providing better food for hostelers and in the canteens.

The harsh truth of KIET College.
Placements: A good number of students get placed even more than 90%. But the package is not that much higher, or you can be put in sales role or non-tech role. The highest salary is 34 LPA, the lowest is 3 LPA, and average is around 4 LPA. Top roles are basically SDE and developer roles. Internship opportunities are not available on the campus. Only some of you can get near zero.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is good, the whole campus is Wi-Fi enabled. But there are so many restrictions, you cannot do anything. You want to do with Wi-Fi, and you get weekly limit of 100 GB also. Labs are good with the latest system. Classrooms are good. All classes have AC and smart boards. Library is nice and good amount of books are there.
Faculty: Teachers are good. They guide you good and even if you ask them they can teach you all the things and guide you to the best. Course curriculum is now getting better after being autonomous, and it is great. Semester exams are not that much difficult in college. You can easily pass in one night study if you just want to pass.
Other: You can achieve a good placement in college, but if you study teachers are good. Staffs are tolerating but you must follow rules.

Placement in KIET: the nature of faculty.
Placements: In our college, the placement is decent. About 75% of the students are placed. The average salary is around Rs. 4,00,000 - Rs. 5,00,000. The college also provides the opportunity for internships, and various clubs are also running, in which seniors guide students in terms of skills.
Infrastructure: The college is spread across 18 acres of land, which is, according to me, decent. If you are coming to college with huge campus expectations, it is not one of them. It provides you with a lot of facilities on that campus only, like an IoT lab, Innovation Centre, and many more.
Faculty: The college is trying to update its curriculum as per industry standards. Teachers in my department are supportive. They will provide you with all the facilities that you require to upskill yourself. The toughness of the exam is of a moderate level; it can be passed with one night of study.

The story of KIET Ghaziabad.
Placements: Companies visit the college, but many of them are only for bulk recruitment. They offer packages between 4 and 11 LPA. Most students are placed, but there is a placement criterion set by the recruiter. You can only sit for placements if you meet those criteria.
Infrastructure: The hostel facilities are decent; you can live comfortably there. However, sometimes they are very strict because if any mishap occurs, it is the college's responsibility. There are three boys' hostels and two girls' hostels. Two boys' hostels are for juniors, and one is for seniors. For girls, there is one junior and one senior hostel.
Faculty: The faculty is decent and does not interfere much as long as you perform well in your subjects and maintain good behavior (you'll understand). They are lenient if you do good work, and they will support you. The curriculum is decent, and scoring is easy as they are trying to improve the course.

Satisfied and quite above average college life and seniors are also very helpful.
Placements: Out of 236 students, our branch has got placement. Nearly 75% which is quite above average in today's market. Overall placement 1,600 students placed, with 1,850 total offers. Placement rate is around 90%. The highest package is 60 LPA. The average package is approximately 5.4 LPA. Overall branch specific average vary e.g., CSE 7.1, ECE 6.8, and the lowest package starts around 4 LPA overall. Top recruiting companies frequent and notable recruiters include TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture Amazon, Microsoft, Deloitte, Samsung, HP, and Huawei.
Infrastructure: Facilities, lab, and also infrastructure are quite good. You can freely roam here and there after 5:00 PM without any restriction. Good labs, Wi-Fi, AC classrooms, and library are available. Hostel is clean. Food is decent. Sports, medical, and canteen facilities are good. Canteen is really good and open upto 8:00 PM.
Faculty: Teachers are really helpful and knowledgeable. This course will obviously make you industry-ready. Talking about semester exams, they are generally easy to moderate range. Teachers are helpful. Curriculum is relevant. Exams are moderate. The pass percentage is approximately 90%.
