The worst college in terms of placements and studies.
Placements: Till now out of 120 students only 15 have gotten placed. The average salary offered is 4 Lacs, the highest we had this year was 7 Lacs and the lowest went down to 2.2 Lacs. The two most important recruiting companies are Secure meters and Hindustan Zinc, other than these two few more companies like Larsen and Turbo, JW steel, Adani and Vedanta did came for campus placements. Only 12% of the people have been able to achieve internships through campus rest all are trying off campus as we don't have a lot of companies visiting us and those who come just recruit like 2 to 3 students. Top roles for this year so far are full sack web developed, data analyst and system design eng.
Infrastructure: Hostel conditions are not at all good, students prefer to live off campus on PG's, the college hostels does not have AC rooms and nor do they allow to put our coolers, hygine is pathetic, the cleaners come like once a week, mess food is awful and the dispensary does not have any medical staff or supplies.
Faculty: Some teachers are helpful, while most of them don't care much as 90% of them is guest faculty, the practical know given to us is zero, a teacher even said that just fill your copy as much as you can even if the matter is irrelevant, most of the equipments in the lab are ancient they don't even work and most of the times we don't have electricity and they can't even afford a generator.
Other: There are no cultural, sports, or any kind if events, alumni network does not even exist, choosing this college was a big mistake, the management is so poor and placements are not at all good.

College needs improvement in various areas.
Placements: A number of students are placed every year. The highest package being offered is 28 LPA, the lowest is 2 LPA, and the average package being offered is 5 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Wipro and TCS. The placement scenario is average but a student needs to work very hard to grab a job. The highest package is mainly offered to CS and ECE branch students.
Infrastructure: No Wi-Fi or AC facility is provided. Food provided in the college is not so great. Sports room is amazing but its availability is rare. Medical room is present and nurses are there to provide first aid to students in case of any emergency. Labs are quite up to the mark with the latest equipment and the library is full of all kinds of books that a student needs.
Faculty: The curriculum does not focus on imparting practical knowledge to students. Therefore, it does not make students industry ready. Exams are not very tough but the faculty chooses to give more marks to regular students.
Other: No events or extra-curricular activities are conducted on the campus.

I am dissatisfied by the placement though, but they worked in 2019.
Placements: Hardly 4-5 students got placed from our batch and strength of student was 45. The highest salary package offered was 5.5 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 2.5 LPA. Denso was the top recruiting company of our college. Internships were dependent on students interest. The college didn't play any role in that part.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college was good. The individual departments were away from each other. But the facilities provided were not much good. There was no internet facility provided during our course. The library should be upgraded. The hostel was also bad. Washrooms were not good, and even the food served was not good. So I left it in our second year.
Faculty: Teachers in our college were good, but I was not happy with the lab attendant we got in our college. They should appoint someone with some experience or proper knowledge. I think they have to work a bit more so that student get practical knowledge as well. This will help them in the industry.
Other: I got selected in a government college, so I opted for it without thinking about the course I got. There was nothing best about it. Only thing I learned in our college is the project that we worked in the final year, and that was made by us with the help of internet. Teachers should be helpful to students. In internal marking, they must do the lenient marking so that everyone should at least get a pass. They gave marks in practicals by seeing the face of the student. Fest was held once in a year only. Extracurricular activities depend on students. If students were more active, then teachers supported them.

Q:   Are private sector BTech jobs better-paying than government jobs?
ShikshaGPT says
A:

Well, yes. The private sector BTech jobs in India offer a higher earning potential than the government sector jobs, including promotions, yearly bonuses, performance rewards, etc., along with a plethora of career options across different sectors. Having said that, there is less scope for job stability in the private sector due to market downturns.

The government sector is known for decent job security and other benefits like health insurance and retirement benefits. Rest, you can sit and decide for yourself whatever suits your interests the best. Best wishes.
