The separate placement report for BCom has not been released as of now. However, the University has released the overall placement statistics for UG (3-year) courses. Out of 1,241 UG (3-year) graduates 434 were placed during 2022 placements. Earlier, 393 out of 1,208 students were placed in 2021. Looking at the past three years' data, the placement rate has been fluctuating. On the other hand, the median package has improved from 2020 to 2022. BCom at MGKVP is a three-year programme. According to the university's NIRF Report 2024, a median package of INR 3.37 LPA was offered to the students pursuing UG (3-year) courses. 569 UG (3-year) students were placed out of a total of 1,429 students. According to MGKVP reviews on Shiksha.com, an average rating of 3.1 stars (out of 5) was provided by students to the university's BCom placements. According to the students reviews, the salary package offered during BCom placements ranged from INR 1.2 LPA to 7.5 LPA over the past few years. The top recruiting companies were ICICI Bank, TCS, and other local private banks.

MG Kashi Vidyapith accepts online applications for its BCom programme. During the application process, candidates are required to upload a scanned photograph and signature. During the admission, candidates must present the following original documents for verification:

• Class 10 and Class 12 mark sheets
• Date of birth certificate
• Photo Identity proof such as like Aadhaar Card/ PAN Card
• Original Transfer certificate (TC)
• Original Character certificate (CC)
• Migration certificate (original)
• Passport-size photograph (coloured)
• Anti-ragging affidavit by both candidate and parents on stamp paper certified by a notary (original and one copy)
• Self-attested copy of Income and caste certificate (SC/ST/OBC)

The Mahatma Gandhi Kashi Vidyapith BCom fee ranges between INR 6,300 and INR 1.9 lakh. The exact amount depends on the affiliated college offering the course. Candidates opting for computers must pay an additional fee of INR 1,000. In addition to the course fees, applicants may have to pay the other fee components, such as one-time fees, hostel fees, etc. The mentioned fee is sourced from the official website of the university/sanctioning body. Mahatma Gandhi Kashi Vidyapith (MGKVP), Varanasi BCom course comprises six semesters. It is inclusive of various core, elective, co-curricular and vocational courses.
