After the shortlisting process for BMS is completed, the MJPRU admission committee sends out admission offers. Selected students are required to pay the fees to secure their admission. MJPRU accepts scores in JEE Main, CUET-UG, CUET-PG, etc. for admission to specific courses. The university also conducts its own test to select candidates for admission to M.Ed, LLB and LLM programmes.

MJPRU Bareilly admissions are both merit and entrance-based for respective UG and PG courses.
