Candidates who are willing for admission to a four-year BTech course at MJPRU must fulfil the basic education requirements as per the university's norms. Candidates who passed a Class 12 with Physics, Chemitry & Mathematics as their subjects are eligible to apply for MJPRU BTech admissions for the first year. However, students who are still appearing in the final examinations of Class 12 will also be able to apply. MJPRU prefers JEE Main rank for BTech admissions. The fee structure at Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Rohilkhand University for BTech programme is INR 1.65 lakh- INR 3.01 lakh. The university fee only inculdes the tuition fee in the fee structure. MJRPU hostel and mess fee is not added in the fee structure. 

Yes, for BTech admissions at MJPRU, Bareilly, candidates need to clear JEE Main exam. Moreover, for BTech (Lateral Entry) course, students need to qualify CUET UG. Also, candidates need to fulfil the eligibility criteroa for admissions. The eligibility criteria for admissions at Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Rohilkhand University (MJPRU), Bareilly for BTech course is that candidate should have been passed Class 12 with a minimum of 45% aggregate.

In terms of placements, the University has achieved a good placement record. The University offers over 30 programmes at the undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctorate level. A few of the courses provided by the university include BTech, MA, MSc, LLB, LLM, B.Ed, MEd, and more. Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Rohilkhand University admissions to various courses are either entrance or merit-based. Moreover, the University also conducts an entrance exam for admission to MSc, LLB, B.Ed, B.El.Ed, BPEd, MEd and LLM programmes.

MJPRU Bareilly admissions are both merit and entrance-based for respective UG and PG courses. For a few UG courses such as BA, BSc, BCom, etc., admissions are offered based on candidates' merit scores obtained in their last qualifying exam. Further, to get admission to courses such as LLB, MEd, MSc, etc., candidates have to qualify for the university-level entrance exam. MJPRU admissions are either entrance or merit-based. Candidates have to qualify for the minimum eligibility criteria to apply for any of the UG & PG courses. For PG courses, MJPRU conducts the MJPRU entrance exam. Apart from that for courses such as BPharm, BTech, MBA, MCA, etc., the university accepts valid scores of JEE Main, CUET UG & CUET PG entrance exams. Further, for other UG courses, admissions are entirely based on the merit obtained in the previous qualifying exam.

The University is recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC). Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Rohilkhand University is accredited with a "B" Grade by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). Moreover, the university has 563 affiliated colleges, out of which 56 are government-aided colleges and 507 are self-financed colleges. It is a state-level university that was established in 1975.
