Master of Computer Applications (MCA) - Batch of 2025
Offered by St. Aloysius Institute of Management and Information Technology (AIMIT)
4.8

Top notch infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: Good for placement, 75 percent of students got internships from our course. Companies are offering the highest package up to 30 LPA, and the lowest is 8 LPA. There are also many companies at the recruitment day, and it is the best experience for me personally.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure in our course are the best. We got Wi-Fi, well-functioning labs, clean classrooms, and a good amount of books in the library. The food in our college mess is always fresh and clean. Medical facilities are also quite good. Sports and games are the best things for me in our college, I am personally more involved there.
Faculty: Faculty members are very good. Teachers are always helpful towards students and also well-qualified and knowledgeable. Courses are quite good and make every student job and industry ready. The exam level in our college is tough, and the passing percentage is minimum 50%.

Master of Commerce (M.Com.) - Batch of 2025
5
5Placements5Infrastructure5Faculty5Crowd & Campus Life5Value for Money
Overall best university for M.Com course.
Placements: The referrals are fantastic, with most students receiving referrals from the campus buildings themselves. About 77% of students get placed, and the remaining students also find good jobs. The average package ranges from 7–12 LPA, while the highest package is 22 LPA, though only a few students receive the highest offer. Top recruiters include HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, Goldman Sachs, and others. The top job roles offered are accountant, financial analyst, and more.
Infrastructure: The curriculum is certainly innovative and teaches you everything you need to know. However, there are a few courses and lessons that feel unnecessary and add extra load to your learning. These subjects have little to do with corporate life and sometimes delay progress while putting unnecessary stress on students.
Faculty: The faculty at the college is very helpful and genuinely interested in the students’ growth, they empower everyone and help students learn how to improve their abilities to become good competitors. All students are given additional assignments. Semester exams are not easy, and the pass rate is over 73%.

Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) - Batch of 2025
Offered by Shree Devi College
2.8
2Placements3Infrastructure4Faculty2Crowd & Campus Life3Value for Money
The college is quite good because of its faculty members and the events or programmes.
Placements: In our college, students can pursue advanced courses such as BBA in Aviation and Hospitality Management and BBA in Logistics and Supply Chain Management. However, the college does not provide any placement assistance, so students are responsible for finding jobs on their own. Most students secure placements at Bangalore International Airport, with many working for Air India Seats.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is quite good, with no major issues. The college uses modern teaching techniques, such as projectors and LED screens, to educate students. It also has well-equipped classrooms and a library. Additionally, the college provides hostel facilities for students. However, the quality of food in the hostel and canteen is not very good. There are no proper medical or sports facilities on campus due to a lack of space.
Faculty: Faculty members in this college are good, helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The relationship between professors and students is very strong. The college has well-qualified lecturers who effectively teach students and help them improve their skills.
Other: Actually, I wanted to join aviation, and this college offers a specialized BBA course in aviation and hospitality, so I chose this college. It also has relatively lower fees compared to other colleges. The college provides more practical knowledge to students, helping them improve their understanding of the course.

M.A. in Economics - Batch of 2024
5
5Placements5Infrastructure5Faculty5Crowd & Campus Life5Value for Money
This is the best College for M.A. in Economics Course.
Placements: In this college, 85–90% of students get placements and have got good jobs too, especially those who get 95% marks. Positive growth is also facilitated by trade outcome. Salaries vary, with an average of 15 LPA and a minimum of 2 LPA, depending on their score. Top recruiters are DE Shaw, Goldman Sachs, RBI, etc. The top jobs are in economics, financial analyst, and so on.
Infrastructure: Although they are present, the infrastructure and facilities are not very well-renovated, it is pleasant to stay at the hostel, the food in the mess is not good, however, the windows in the room are only accessible by one person, so the other person cannot use them. I have to take more nutrients to stay alive. Oil is dipped on the food. Crispy vegetables are fried.
Faculty: Teachers help. They are very supportive of the student seeking, but sometimes teachers in some departments are too aggressive with their students and unnecessarily unleash their anger on them. Otherwise, on the teaching side, they are good. Semester exams are not too easy, and the pass rate is over 70%.

Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) - Batch of 2025
Offered by St. Aloysius College Magaluru
4.4

Good college with supportive faculty and facilities.
Placements: Around 25% of students got placed in the course. The salary package ranges between 2 LPA to 5 LPA. Moss Adams was one of the top recruiting companies. Nearly 90% of students got internships in different firms. The main role offered is accountant.
Infrastructure: The course infrastructure is very good with spacious classrooms, well-equipped computer labs, and a library that has all the required resources. Wi-Fi facility is available for students with proper permission, which helps in accessing study materials. Overall, the infrastructure is well-maintained and supports effective learning.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, knowledgeable, and supportive. The course curriculum is well-structured and relevant, which helps students become industry-ready. Semester exams are moderately difficult, but with proper preparation, most students are able to clear them successfully with a good pass percentage.
Other: I chose B.Com with CA because I wanted to pursue a career as a chartered accountant. The course has a good balance of theory and practical learning, which helps in understanding accounting concepts better. Campus life is enjoyable. The fests are well-organized, giving students a chance to participate in extracurricular activities along with academics.

Bachelor of Computer Application (BCA) - Batch of 2025
Offered by St. Aloysius College Magaluru

3Placements3Infrastructure3Faculty4Crowd & Campus Life2Value for Money
It is an average college.
Placements: I am in BCA final year and I am going to passout around May. In our class, 4 people got the placements. The highest package is 1.5 LPA, and the lowest package is 1 LPA. Top recruiting company is Accenture. Internships we are supposed to do on our own. We do not have to an internship compulsory as we are having a project. Top role offered in our course is developer.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructures provided are labs, classrooms, and library. There is not much they have offered, that too they have increased the batches and classes are less. They keep on switching classes now and then. I am not staying in the hostel. The food in the college canteen is average. Medical facilities I have never really seen any. Sports are the only thing I guess that is given very much important other than studies.
Faculty: Some teachers are helpful, very qualified, and knowledgeable. Some are not knowledgeable at all. The teaching quality is average. The course curriculum is relevant. It kind of does the students industry ready not 100%. Semester exams are fine, not very bad. The pass percentage is above 60%.
Other: I chose this course because there is scope for computers nowadays. The best thing about this course is the lab. If we have more practical and less theory it would be better. Events and fests are happening every now and then. Campus crowd is very much, and connectivity is there. Campus surroundings are beautiful. They do offer scholarships and extra curricular activities are given mutual importance.
