St Albert's College autonomous review for new students.
Placements: Actually, I am from the 2020 to 2023 batch at St. Albert's College. In our time of study, they were not providing placement. But they also tried to provide opportunities to students doing internships as final-year projects. The overall course syllabus was good compared with other colleges. Our college was autonomous. This made the syllabus updated every year as per the new technology coming into the IT field.
Infrastructure: Our college was autonomous, which made our college infrastructure top-level compared with other colleges. To get autonomous, college management needed to be well-maintained. The infrastructure at time of NAAC visit. We had large canteen facilities for students and teachers, it's looking like a restaurant inside a college well-maintained and clean. Students had a separate cafeteria for buying snacks in the evening, which means students did not need to go outside of the campus.
Faculty: The main reasons for getting admission at St. Albert's College were the faculty members and course syllabus, because teachers were friendly to students, which made students feel like they were in a college environment. Because of autonomous, our exams were conducted in a timely based on the syllabus completion. Compared with other colleges, our exams were easy to achieve the highest score because our questions were made by the college.
Other: College vibe was good for students, but the main problem with our campus was that there was not much space compared with other colleges. But available space was maximum utilised to build, which gives the campus vibe. The attraction was that every Friday, any of the departments needed to conduct cultural program at basketball hall, programs like dance, music, etc., which makes the vibe in our college. Albert College provided scholarships to students who scored marks above 70% in each semester, and they received 20% discount on the fee. The main reasons to choose Albert's College were the connectivity.

    B. Vocational in software development.
Placements: St. Teresa's College supports various arts and science courses and is initiating new courses every year based on student feedback. Mostly, placement training is a bit harder to attend, but we are able to learn skills in such classes. The minimum salary package offered by recruiters is 2.9 Lacs P/A.
Infrastructure: There is no specific uniform allocated to students. We usually dress according to our convenience, but it should be formal. During cultural events and other occasions, we may wear our favorite outfits. Regarding security, nobody can move outside without permission.
Faculty: Bunking class is strictly prohibited in our college, and ragging has been banned to maintain a peaceful environment. The lectures are very knowledgeable, with all the required skills. Some of the passed-out students who had a passion for teaching have joined our college as lecturers.

    Review of St Teresa's College.
Placements: Around 40 students were there in total for the course, and I was joined in batch 2019-2022 for B.Voc Food Processing Technology. For our coarse, there is no recruitment or placement provided. And for internships, we also have to go and find out. In our batch, we had a total of six internships, so at the end of each semester, we will have to submit a copy of that internship certificate for our future jobs.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is not provided, but we do have a projector classroom along with good library access. The hostel facilities are really good and the food available in the mess and canteen is of high quality and low budget. There are first aid and medical facilities provided in our college for any emergency requirements. They also provide so many sports, like basket ball, tennis, and so many other extracurricular activities, to improve students capabilities.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful with the subjects they are teaching. The quality of teaching is quite good. The course curriculum is also relevant and up to date and we also have practical sessions for students to exceed in the future. Semester exams are easy and we can score good marks. The pass percentage is 40%.
Other: I chose this college because it is known as one of the most prestigious institutions in Kerala, with NAAC accreditation of A+. There is no more improvement needed for our coarse, as it is good. They also provide so many scholarships for students in SCST and OEC but do not provide for students who gain marks.

It is an average college for students.
Placements: Around 30 students got placed in our course. It is a good course with great scope and excitement. Top recruiting companies for our course were Nestle, Cadbury, Merriboy, Lazza, Uncle John, etc. Almost 80-85% of students got internships in this course. Top roles offered for our course were laboratory technician, quality controller, production controller, sales manager, etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure was average. All facilities were provided in this college. Digital classrooms were well-maintained. Laboratory was better. There was a decent library in this college. Hostels had great facilities. Indoor games were conducted like table tennis, chess, and carrom. Outdoor games were also conducted like cricket, football, volleyball, badminton, etc. The food served in the canteen was very good.
Faculty: Teachers were helpful and well-qualified. They taught us very well. The course curriculum was great to make students ready for the industry. Semester exams were not difficult. If we study properly, we can score good marks.
Other: I chose this course by considering the scope and job opportunities it offered. The course would have been better if it included its own relevant published textbooks. Many extracurricular activities were conducted in this college. Fests, internships, and industrial visits were also conducted. Scholarships were provided to merit students.
