Following the results announcement, Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) will make available the Common Admission Test (CAT) 2023 cutoff. By the second week of January 2024, the outcome will be known.Prior to that, the qualifying CAT cutoffs—the minimal score requirements for admission to MBA programs—were announced by the IIMs. The CAT cutoff is different for every IIM. Shortlisted candidates for the admissions process will be those who meet the CAT 2023 cutoff. Candidates must meet the requirements set out by each IIM in order to be selected for the Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI). 

For admission to a four-year B.Tech course at MIT-WPU , aspirants are required to fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria as per the university's norms. Those who are willing to get admission to this course must pass Class 12 with minimum of 50-60% aggregate. They must have studied Physics and Mathematics as main subjects and Chemistry/ Technical Vocational/ Biotechnology* as optional subjects. 

For candidates belonging to differently-abled categories, backward categories and Maharashtra-state, there is a reduction of five percent. These candidates are required to obtain minimum of 45-55% aggregate in the last qualifying exam of Class 12 in the same subjects as of all. 

*This subject is only required for BTech in Bioengineering course. 

For admission to the BTech course, MIT-WPU accepts scores of various state/ national-level entrance exams such as JEE Main/ MHT CET/ PERA CET/ MHT CET B/ NEET UG. Hence, candidates willing to get admission to the course must appear and qualify in any one of the accepted entrance exams. For some specialisations, students may have to write a Statement of Purpose (SOP).
