MIT-WPU Pune does not offer direct admission to its UG and PG courses. MIT-WPU course admissions for all courses are either done via MIT-WPU CET, which is conducted by the university itself. The university also accepts various state and national-level entrance exams such as PERA CET, JEE Main, CAT, MAT, NEET UG, etc. Those who want to get admission to any of the UG and PG courses at MIT-WPU, must fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria in the first place and then appear for the respective entrance exams. For some PG courses such as MBA and MCA, the university also accepts valid scores in personal interview rounds as part of their selection process. The final seat allotment is done based on the counselling rounds.
In order to get admission to MIT-WPU, Pune BTech course, candidates need to fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria, i.e., to pass Class 12 with Physics, Mathematics and English as compulsory subjects with a minimum of 50-60% aggregate in the PCM group.
